Prediction: every product with an iPhone simulator is going to start rendering it in a 3D device model.
Another gorgeous Duo app #MadeWithBitrig
Taking notes on the iPhone Duo is so satisfying… especially when it looks and feels like a real notebook that truly belongs to you.
With TypeDraw you choose what happens when you “open” your book, and you can personalise it with custom colours, fonts and even your own handwriting.
For everyone lucky enough to have their hands on a Duo today: TypeDraw is available on the App Store now. For everyone else: it also looks and works great on regular iPhones 😄

It's been really fun seeing Deck-Man (née DuoMan) and other apps built with Bitrig covered in all the iPhone Duo reviews the past couple days
We've been blown away by the iPhone Duo apps the community has built with Bitrig, so we added a new #MadeWithBitrig section to our website to recognize them.
Have you made something cool? Let us know!

For the first time, the full Bitrig experience fits in your pocket—3D simulator, Code, and App Store tabs—all running side by side with your agent on Bitrig Remote for iPhone Duo.
Bitrig Remote is now available for iPhone Duo.
Unfold iPhone Duo and Bitrig Remote opens into the whole Bitrig workspace, with the same Simulator, Code, and App Store tabs as your Mac.

Duo-Man is now Deck-Man and here's how @viditb built it. Can't wait to see this launch next week!

I'm so excited for this.
Working inside Apple, you're not allowed to publish your own apps to the App Store. There's very good legal/ethical reasons for that. But it means that most Apple engineers have very little personal experience with shipping apps on the App Store. When I left Apple, my knowledge of that was 12 years out of date.
So when Apple engineers talk about the "end-to-end developer experience" at WWDC, they're really just talking about writing, testing, and merging your code, because that's what "end-to-end" means to most of them. It's a different department's responsibility to run the App Store.
Our goal with Bitrig is to create a *real* end-to-end developer tool: brainstorm, code, test, merge, iterate, refine, and yes, *ship*! Working with App Store Connect and making sure you have a great App Store listing is a critical and time-consuming part of that, and deserves great tooling.
You can now edit and preview your full App Store listing right in Bitrig.
Update your listing, preview your product page, and prepare iPhone Duo screenshots. When you're ready, submit your app directly to App Review.

Looks like Widgets and CarPlay are the 3rd party developer story for HomeView: developer.apple.com/support/…
Does AI lead to lowest-common-denominator slop or out-of-distribution greatness?
We're all inundated with examples of the former, but I feel lucky to be surrounded by the latter.
So grateful to be working with my @bitrig teammates.
This week's release sizzle needed a lot of clicking, typing, dragging and scrolling, more than I trusted myself to do smoothly in one take with my vertical mouse.
So I built a companion app with Bitrig: Demo Director.
It plays a macro of the whole walk-through with a virtual cursor that moves the way a hand does, arcing a little as it travels, settling on its target, pressing down on clicks, and typing at a human rhythm. I tuned all of that on a live preview, rearranged the steps on a timeline, and rehearsed sections until they were right. Every take comes out identical, and when it's done the app is left exactly as it was.
Been wanting to add this since we shipped our initial App Store publishing support 3 months ago.
I learned at Apple that aggressive deadlines force you to be disciplined and avoid feature creep. A lot of features you think you need you actually don't.
Some though, even with time and space, still feel compelling and urgent. Those are the ones to focus on.

Building a 5-disc CD changer for iPhone Duo 💿
Unfold the phone and the jewel case opens. Then load the disc into the carousel.
Penta is already on the App Store. Duo support coming soon!
Demoed on @bitrig, which has the best Duo simulator!

Small experiment with iPhone Duo.
Turned it into a 1960s suitcase record player 📻
Closed, the outer screen is the lid, with a smoked window onto the record spinning inside. Open it and everything lines up exactly where it was.
Pick a sleeve and the record slides home before the next one drops on the platter.
Built at @insaneartsio in SwiftUI using @bitrig
How to build iPhone Duo apps that use both displays at once was one of the top questions at our hackathon. So we made it easy!
Bitrig can now stream your Mac’s camera into its 3D simulator.
Build iPhone Duo camera apps that use both displays and see them from either side.

This game is so fun, maybe it should come built into @bitrig as an easter egg?
