If this is Michael Carrick's last game, it better be Jason Wilcox's last at Manchester United too. His mess, his legacy, the team he oversaw, another coaching hire he was central to. A club run by cretins & cowards.

Deja vu to start the second half, United conceding inside 5mins. Straight through middle of defence, Douvakis staying onside this time to finish neatly. #MUFC

There has to be half-time changes. Amad + Baleba on to bring some bite + energy. Mbeumo up top so there is a focal point. Como have completed 399 passes to Unitedโ€™s 216, gaining 64% possession. #MUFC sleepwalking to defeat as stands.

LAFCโ€™s problems start deep, in the buildup. When you rely on attacking in transition, you need a 6 who is defensive AND can progress the ball quickly. LAFC bringing in a destroyer (Igor) made no sense. At the same time, you want CBs who can break lines. If you donโ€™t have either,

All of these things can be true at the same time: - Giroud was an abject failure in MLS - the U.S actually *is* a football country for tens of millions of people - MLS lacks competition, intensity and authenticity and Giroud felt that Heโ€™s mad because he didnโ€™t really care and he failed. Heโ€™s also right about much of what he said here.

He was involved in the equalizer and seemed able to move the ball forward and connect the midfield with the attack, such as it was. Not a bad debut.

Bro basically confirmed the concerns of fans. We werenโ€™t crazy. The propaganda machine tried so hard to gaslight us after every game only for the main man himself to confirm what we saw with our own eyes. Vindication ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Ecuadorian midfielder Sergio Vรกsquez is training with the team. The U22 signing arrived in L.A. last Friday. Today he said that he is fit to play around 60 minutes. LAFC could use the help. They miss seven players against Dallas (six on intl duty plus a suspended Aaron Long).
