Bio is having its China moment. Just booked flights to join & add a bit of California Peptide Club flavor. DM me if you're coming or are interested!
🏮Announcing the Lantern Summit in Shanghai🏮 In 2025, more new medicines launched first in China than anywhere else on Earth. That has never happened before. Drug development has two simultaneous accelerators: • AI is collapsing design (weeks instead of years). • China is collapsing development (physical iteration speed). Here is why that matters, and what Western biotech is missing: 🧵

Just met one of the organizers of the Lantern Summit, which is an invite-only biotech conference happening in Shanghai at the end of October. Just go to thelanternsummit.com if you're interested in applying. I personally can't go, unfortunately, too many Mommy duties! Anyway, at @techbuzzchina, we still haven't managed to land clients focused on biotech yet but we keep on accumulating biotech contacts, so hopefully something will happen eventually!

If you enjoyed my piece earlier this summer on China catching up in biotech, & you're building something early-stage -- the Lantern Summit is worth your time. Apply soon, tickets on sale until Sep 28th
