After a joke during the press conference, ULA's @torybruno gets his tie cut after his "first people launch", a tradition usually after a flight director's first launch

I made it out of the jungle alive ❤ This was an adventure of a lifetime, from getting lost in dense unexplored wilderness to taking very high doses of ayahuasca. I'll post videos about some of these adventures in a week or so. First, here's a 4 hour podcast conversation with Paul Rosolie that we recorded deep in the jungle. This time in the jungle has deepened my gratitude for getting to exist on this beautiful planet with all of you. I love you all ❤ The podcast conversation is here on X and is up on YouTube, Spotify, and everywhere else. Links in comment. I'm reminded of when I was a planetarium presenter in the 1990s. I was trying to find a Magellan image of Venus & I couldn't find it. My director put an artist's image of Titan in the deck as a replacement. " That's Titan!? " I said. His reply: 1/
"We need an image to go with our story about the final Delta IV Heavy launch." "Sure, no problem. All rockets look alike, right?"

Over the past weeks, three engineering teams have continued to review mission data. Team One is organizing all of the data received from the lunar surface into a repository to make it easily accessible. Team Two is reconstructing the mission by reviewing each system and evaluating its performance. Team Three is taking this information and looking at reconstruction simulations, models, and analysis for recommendations on near-term design changes.

Today General Tom Stafford went to the eternal heavens which he so courageously explored as a Gemini and Apollo astronaut as well as a peacemaker in Apollo Soyuz. Those of us privileged to know him are very sad but grateful we knew a giant.
