If you can see the problem, then you can find the solution. Curious about energy production, government corruption and its profiteers.

All carbon credits are fraud but carbon credits for the Amazon are fraud-squared. More than half of Amazon-related carbon credits have been illegally sold for lands not owned or controlled by the credit sellers. #MilloysLaw: Green = Fraud washingtonpost.com/world/int…

NY’s financial outlook is in a relatively stable position, but the State continues to have a structural budget deficit. In my review of the NYS Financial Plan, I outlined six principles to improve its fiscal outlook. Read more: tinyurl.com/oscfinancialplan

It is time to execute a comprehensive review to help support a more transparent process. Per the Comptroller's report, this should include an assessment of the goals, distribution of systems by load & size, & annual funding commitments/expenditures.

Hyping net zero is NOT the same as achieving net zero. @pwrhungry reviews the numbers for Google.
Despite years of hyping its alt-energy purchases and net zero plans, @Google’s electricity use, CO2 emissions, and carbon intensity are all soaring. These four charts tell the story. My latest (on another platform that must not be named). 1/5

WATCH: The eye of CAT 4 Hurricane #Beryl is now precariously close to the south shore of Jamaica. Maximum sustained winds are currently set at 140 mph. Seen below, a high resolution loop of the last 90 minutes from GOES East with a false color layer to highlight the eye. Scary stuff.

And the $624 billion cost doesn’t make any allowance for the risk of the lithium batteries catching fire and blowing up. And tragically, it appears that 20 workers have been burned alive in this lithium battery disaster today. Considering no one died from the Fukushima nuclear incident, how can renewable zealots continue to claim renewables are "safer" given these ongoing battery fires ? dailymail.co.uk/news/article…
$624,000,000,000 ($624 billion) bill for Blackout Bowen’s Big Batteries for just 3 windless winter nights. Given the ABC will never even try to inform the public, and with Blackout (being mathematical challenged) and incapable of making the calculations - let’s do the sums on how much it would cost for Big Batteries for just 3 windless winter nights if we do away with fossil fuels and try and run the economy on Chinese made solar panels & wind turbines to reach Net Zero. How much power is needed As the graph below shows, we are going to need an average of around 20,000 MW of battery power to replace coal/gas when solar power goes to sleep, from around 4pm on a winter’s afternoon to around 8am the following morning. That’s 16 hours x 20,000MW = 320,000 MWh And doesn’t take in account the huge increases in power that will be needed to charge millions of electric car and trucks overnight under Net Zero - or the extra electricity needed if gas heating is banned. The cost of the batteries Renew Economy estimate the cost of NSW’s ‘Giant Waratah Super Battery’ at $1.4 billion for 1680 MWh. That’s $833,000 per MWh But let’s be generously and discount that to $650,000 per MWh. So the cost for one night’s battery storage (ignoring the additional costs input-out losses) is; 320,000 MWh x $650,000 = $208,000,000,000 That’s $208 billion. Total cost over just 3 nights But just one night’s storage is totally inadequate, because you only have an 8 hour window during winter (8am to 4pm) to recharge the batteries with "excess power" ready for the next night. Therefore, at an absolute minimum you’d need 3 nights battery storage (and even this likely to be dangerously inadequate) So for just 3 nights the cost is $208 billion x 3 = $624 billion. That’s $624,000,000,000 for the batteries alone. That’s around $23,000 for every man women and child in the country - or $92,000 for a family of four. Expected life span And grid scale batteries only have an expected life span of 10 to 15 year, then you have the costs of burying them deep in some giant land fill due to their toxicity, and then you have to start again. linkedin.com/pulse/elaborati…. Other costs And that $624 billion doesn’t including the cost of the mass inefficient overbuild of solar/wind so you might have a chance of having some excess power between 8am to 4pm (if you get a sunny day with consistent wind). And then there is the additional costs of all additional transmission lines need. It would bankrupt the nation Its a complete farce, an economically impossibility, that would bankrupt the nation. But that’s the fairytale that Blackout Bowen and Matt Green are trying to sell to the Australian public. We need new coal We’d get a new coal fired power station for less 1% of the cost of Bowen & Kean’s Big Battery plan. esfccompany.com/en/articles/… And I’d welcome the opportunity to debate Labor’s newly appointed Climate Commissar Matt Kean on the above - but zealots like Bowen & Kean don’t deal in facts, science or economics.

Yesterday there was a massive fire at a battery recycling warehouse in Paisley Glasgow. People in that area are reporting that the fires yesterday in Glasgow was deliberate. Today there is a massive fire at a lithium battery Manufacturing warehouse in Hwaseong South Korea. Sabotage. Not a coincidence.

Officials are sounding the alarm about the grave dangers posed by the lithium-ion batteries found in electric vehicles. Is it any surprise that ferry companies and underground car parks are banning EVs, insurance companies are refusing to insure them, and EV owners are struggling to sell them on the second-hand market? How long until they are banned outright? E-bike causes fire on subway. Something that never used to happen.
Everybody “get out, get out” was call by ⁦@TTC staffers. They deserve a major pat on back. Excellent response. ⁦⁦@ChiefPeggTFS⁩ and his ⁦@Torontofire1⁩ team as well. It was not an easy fire to put out as e-bike battery blazes usually are. One man was injured.
