Thank you Councillor Islam for speaking for #Selhurst residents. The litter and fly-tipping are ruining our neighbourhood, and the council must take action. #CleanUpSelhurst
Mayor Perry has neglected Selhurst Ward for far too long. Fly-tipping and litter are out of control, while residents' pleas for action go ignored. It's time for real leadership, not empty promises.

New report from @PoliceChiefs estimates there were 2.3m perpetrators of #VAWG in the last year - and that they are becoming younger. The new govt wants to halve this number in 10 years - more robust data and evidence will be key to getting this right. theguardian.com/society/arti…

It is such an exciting time for @RespectUK. We have an ambitious strategy & big plans for the next 5 years, plus the prospect of a new government to hold to account. Getting the right person to be our Fundraising Manager could make all the difference! Please share widely ⭐️
We're taking our work to the next level, scaling up our efforts to end domestic abuse. We need the right person, with the right skills and experience, to help us secure the funding to do it.
Could you be our new fundraising manager? 🔍

This 👇 Really important, not often considered, aspect of school. Lack of green space in state schools, especially in urban areas where flat-dwelling families don’t have gardens either. theguardian.com/environment/…

Nearly 5 years on from the Grenfell Phase 1 Report and Government still haven’t implemented Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans. This is why it is so important:

"We will use every government tool available to target perpetrators and address the root causes of abuse and violence"
We're delighted to see a clear commitment to address perpetrators in the #LabourManifesto. This echoes our call for all parties to hold perpetrators to account.
A year ago today our home was on fire. A community traumatised - my family and neighbours still reliving incident and horrible days that followed. For the sake of people’s lives, the #cladding scandal needs urgent action. Residents can’t wait. #buildingsafetycrisis @LondonCAG
Shocking fire safety failures SIX years after Grenfell.
Croydon flats go up in flames with combustible material, a “Stay Put” policy and no fire alarm.
And like in 2017, Hallam Court residents had safety concerns before the fire.
