Since my accident I’ve had A LOT of anxiety. Loud noises and emergency vehicles are massive triggers. As luck would have it, my rental car has a defective trunk that opens loudly and unexpectedly like it nuh know seh mi wi leave a Lexxi-shaped impression in the roof.
I had two back to back sessions like this today. As a therapist I HATE the full moon. You would think we’d be on opposite sides of the room. Nope! They were on top of me fighting me while they screamed.
Suh me stay inna the therapy session with the bean bag as my shield and the roll of paper towel as my sword. As mi dodge the hit dem mi a wipe boogoo.
