Everytime I pass through immigration smart gates in Dubai - I am both amazed and little spooked. I remove my glasses, stare at a camera, it prints my name and opens the gate. No scanning my passport or any other ID at the smart gate.

Looks like NBFC AA PR machinery is revving up. Its hard not to assume bias when seemingly independent articles all get published around the same time.

#captainobvious - sometimes it is amazing how the economy of the world is connected. Having coffee from Costa rica roasted in Russia brewed on a Japanese V60 paid through a German Card by an Indian sitting in Georgia, who is paid by entities in Europe and USA 🤯

After years of using only card/wallet for Taxi rides. I am now considering switching the default to cash. All this while I was not paying attention when someone would request for cash instead of card/wallet.

Which brings us to the NBFC-AA - The so called answer to consented data flows. NBFC-AA push without a privacy bill seems to have all the ingredients of a data disaster. The consent here seems more about the intermediary liability cover rather than user rights.
