We will soon hear of news that protestors tried to disrupt investments and harass foreign investors.
The DS knows regime changing India is not that easy. So one of the main objectives now is to use the protests and anarchy to hurt India's economy, which is the fastest growing major economy for many years.
Hence we can be sure the protests and anarchy will surely be used constantly to hurt investor confidence and investments in India.
That's why they especially choose to disrupt New Delhi and Mumbai. They will take it to UP's cities too, next, as they are some of the fastest growing and elections are upcoming.

Enough is enough. We mapped Bengaluru traffic to prove it is a huge civic and health risk that is taking lives and costing us lakhs just to exist here.
Some extremely sad data we found:
i) In a heart attack every 30 minutes of delay before treatment raises the risk of dying within a year by 7.5%. At 6 pm traffic here can add 25 minutes to an ambulance ride.
ii) Bengaluru has the most deaths from civic negligence in India. In August a 32 year old woman was killed when the bike she was on swerved around a pothole.
iii) Rush hour takes about a month of working hours from a commuter every year, like an 8% pay cut. Living near the tech parks to avoid it costs ₹1.6 to ₹2.4 lakh more a year in rent.
iv) You have access to only 3 out of 10 essential public facilities (schools, hospitals, toilets etc) at 6pm within a 30 minute vicinity.
v) The ORR carries more than double the traffic it can handle. Last year a company said it would leave Bellandur over 1.5 hour commutes and another state invited it within a day.
vi) The ORR bus lane cut bus trips by about 20 minutes. It was removed in 2022 for metro work and still is not back.
This is intolerable for a city that drives so much of India's economy. We cannot let India's Silicon Valley stall.
My team has put the most immediate fixes that will help solve this + how delayed/pushed they have been. Tag the people who can fix it: Traffic police or Namma Metro or GBA or the CM's office and let us all be honest and tell us what 6 pm has cost you.

This is the worst stretch!! Our 3W vehicle tried to go through this and got broken down.
Took 3 hours to get it out as towing vehicle was stuck in traffic too!!
Citizen Aquiescence?
Official indifference?
Contractor craftsmanship?
Political leadership living in a parallel universe?
Or perhaps Bengaluru has perfected something far more sophisticated: an entire ecosystem where nobody is quite responsible, yet everyone is somehow in charge.
Because this video from Panathur isn’t breaking news. It’s an annual release. Same road. Same rain. Same flooding. Same explanations. Different year. @TVMohandasPai

At this point, Panathur doesn’t need a weather forecast. It needs a governance forecast, where the monsoon is seasonal, but the civic déjà vu is permanent.
☔ Rain: predictable.
🌊 Flooding: predictable.
🚧 Infrastructure failure: predictable.
❓ Accountability: mysteriously unavailable.

My side project is now installable,
npm i bunmaska is now a thing!
bunmaska: electron minus chromium, powered by bun and webkit 🚀
same app / BrowserWindow / ipcMain code, but your download is ~23MB instead of 150, and native modules are just TypeScript files. no compiling. no node-gyp. all built on @jarredsumner's bun:ffi.
alpha, but real. would love eyes on it.

And they will be back on July 11th
Bengaluru East City Corporation: Commissioner DS Ramesh directed officials to launch a footpath encroachment clearance drive from July 1-10, prioritising obstacle-free footpaths. Phase 1 covers Old Madras Road, ITPL Main Road, Sarjapur Main Road, Hoodi-Ayyappanagar Main Road, Horamavu-K Narayanapura Road, AECS Main Road, Outer Ring Road, Whitefield Main Road & EPIP Area. Scientific pothole repairs & junction beautification were also ordered. @BECCUPDATES
Thanks Ritu for sharing this
India throws away over 7 million tonnes of textile waste every year, not because people don't care but because they don’t know how to dispose of it.
Two engineers saw this gap and built NoKasa, an app where you can book a pickup. An agent comes to your home, grades your clothes on the spot, and sends cashback via UPI immediately.
They've already kept 1 lakh garments out of landfills. Such a good innovation to keep cities clean.
