Sharplink CEO at Link:NYC praising #Chainlink and explaining how they've put billions to work through staking Makes you wonder what happens when $LINK gets the same treatment And who's quietly building the rails The ticker is $SDL
“It’s going to be revolutionary.” At Link:NYC, @Sharplink CEO Joseph Chalom (@joechalom) explains how finance & AI are converging, why Chainlink is the clear leader in setting industry standards, and how Sharplink is putting assets to work onchain ↓

Glad we have Price working so closely with us, he is going to have a lot more work now that all financial markets are going on-chain 24/7 but I think with Chainlink he can handle it well.
Meet Price. Price never sleeps. Now markets don’t have to either. Chainlink 24/7 is officially live.

LATEST: 📈 Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov says the value of tokenized equity “can easily have another zero next to it within the next year.” “We could easily be looking at $390 billion in tokenized equity.”

Staking 7,000 $LINK ($51k) for 3 years at $7.28 has generated nearly 90% in returns from price appreciation + staking rewards. If sold at $30, this wallet could make $160k. Who can do this? arkm.com/explorer/address/0x…

I think a lot of people misunderstood what Sergey said about the $LINK token during his keynote at LINK:NYC. This post from @ChainLinkGod and rewatching the keynote a few times really help clarify his message. Sergey stated: "Chainlink is not focused on driving enterprise value or increasing equity. It's about increasing the adoption and usefulness of the Chainlink network as an impartial global infrastructure, and the $LINK token plays a critical role in that." Many interpreted this as Chainlink prioritizing adoption over driving value to the token. But that’s not what he said. He explained that the $LINK token is critical to the network, and as network usage scales, the utility and importance of $LINK will scale with it. The token was never meant to represent equity in Chainlink Labs. It’s a commodity with a crucial role in the ecosystem. He even reinforced this by saying: "You will see more and more cases where TradFi users acquire the token to use the system properly." ➡️This directly implies that the network is specifically designed around the utility of the $LINK token. Chainlink spent years building a secure, reliable network. Now, they are shifting focus toward building end-to-end solutions to drive revenue and expand the network, a growth that goes hand-in-hand with increased $LINK usage.
At Link:NYC, @SergeyNazarov covers how the adoption of Chainlink, including its new end-to-end solutions, is set to generate increasing revenue This value is cycled back into the network through the Reserve (on-market LINK buybacks) to ensure network security and growth long term Sergey touches on how $LINK plays a critical role in the network, being used to align NOPs, contribute to security via staking, and acquired by TradFi users to pay for services Sergey emphasized that increasing Chainlink adoption is *not* about maximizing any enterprise value or driving value to any equity, but that the LINK token is at the center of the network

I’m speaking at Link:NYC this morning with @chainlink. I haven’t seen the questions in advance but I’m pretty sure the crystal ball question will come up and I’ll be asked what’s going to change over the next two years? My answer: the cost and speed of saying yes and knowing when to reconsider. For institutions adopting tokenized assets, reusable evidence means being able to assess an opportunity before committing, check requirements when acting, and continuously monitor what changes afterward. More routine checks become automated. People focus on the exceptions that need judgment. The benefit compounds. Each new institution can build on the evidence already available, making the next financing, custody or payment use easier to support. That’s how we get more assets accepted, more financing available and less capital sitting idle. Issuance creates the asset. Acceptance creates the market

“All of this (adoption, tokenization) will generate a lot of revenue. The $LINK token will play a crucial role in this.” — @SergeyNazarov at LINK:NYC. The Chainlink Reserve is how that thesis starts translating into token demand. As institutional adoption drives greater usage of Chainlink services, a portion of the resulting revenue can be converted into $LINK through Payment Abstraction and accumulated in the Reserve. The bigger Chainlink’s role in global financial infrastructure becomes, the more significant this mechanism gets. We’re still early.
“Lending and credit is the killer use case for tokenization” — @SergeyNazarov at LINK:NYC. Tokenizing trillions of dollars in assets is one thing. Making those assets usable as collateral to unlock liquidity and credit is where things get interesting. And we’re seeing the infrastructure come together: @chainlink is building the data, interoperability, and verification infrastructure. @aave V4 is building the lending infrastructure to bring these assets into onchain credit markets. I don’t think we realize how early we are. Chainlink coded. Aave V4 coded.

One of the most important pieces of infrastructure for bringing capital markets onchain is here: 24/7 price feeds, starting with stocks. Big congratulations to the @chainlink team for the launch! Excited that @aave will be the flagship launch partner for Chainlink’s 24/7 oracles, unlocking the next generation of onchain capital markets.
NEW: Chainlink 24/7 launches at Link:NYC, unlocking always-on pricing for tokenized RWAs. Chainlink 24/7 delivers continuous market data for equities, commodities, and other real-world assets across trading sessions, weekends, and market holidays, enabling: → Prediction markets and perpetual futures with 24/7 trading and settlement → Lending protocols that manage tokenized collateral when traditional markets close → Investors to manage position risk around the clock @aave is adopting Chainlink 24/7 to bring always-on pricing to institutional RWA lending. Global markets. No closing bell. The future of finance is here, and it’s powered by Chainlink.

This is MASSIVE for $LINK. Chainlink just launched 24/7 pricing for tokenized stocks, commodities and RWAs. Aave is already adopting it for institutional lending. We’re literally watching Chainlink become the backbone of a global financial system that never sleeps. Insanely bullish.

There's a very specific kind of brain I have an unreasonable amount of respect for 10 years obsessing over the invisible plumbing of tomorrow's financial system, connecting dots most people don't even know exist This kind of madness is priceless Never change @nullpackets 🫡
I have rejected any offers to actually become Chainlink affiliated directly or as a sanctioned $LINK community member - or any other project or dms looking to pay me to shill their shit - in crypto for the past 10 years just so I am free to speak my mind. save your the cpu cycles. I am what I am. You get what you get or you get going... Now lets have fun.

considering how much crypto twitter seems to be stuck in the fantasy that A blockchain could replace the global financial SYSTEM - i asked grok to create a simple hub and spoke diagram of how the Global Hub and Spoke with Swift and DTCC sitting at the center actually looks like. Everything. $LINK'ed.

Every time I read an excellent detailed post on @chainlink I realize the level of knowledge required to understand the opportunity with ethereum:0x514910771af9ca656af840dff83e8264ecf986ca which is most likely why the token is not already higher. When you start to get institutional coverage of the protocol it will become clearer. Someone can spend years following cryptocurrency markets or financial markets and still lack the background necessary to appreciate the opportunity. I only see it because I started following the link story around a year after they came on the scene and several individuals likes fishy, null, drake that have laid out breadcrumbs over and over again and parsed stuff I didn’t understand with AI (once that was available) but it’s taken a lot of time looking into the various fud arguments to build the conviction needed to hold until the market matures.

"Interop between permissioned Besu ledgers" isn't even 5% of a solution for what DTCC needs, which is why Chainlink is being used. What about interop to Solana? Tempo? Hyperliquid? Zero? Canton? Stellar? Arc? Canton, Stellar, and Arc are the actual *already* announced chains that DTCC’s tokenization service is expanding to (with many more to come). Besu has absolutely no way of enabling interop to where DTCC already confirmed they are launching. But on top of that, what about composability with non-financial networks like Fedwire, Fednow, Swift, DTCC, CLS, FIX, credit card networks, etc, which clear and settle transactions offchain? You need a protocol that can do "orchestration" to allow for bidirectional movement of data, value, and state sync with these off-chain systems. What about all the data needs? What about compliance? What about privacy? The goal of tokenization is to have synchronized data and value across many different chains *and* systems to enable regulated 24/7 markets with atomic DvP & PvP with T+ 0 settlement. "Interop between permissioned Besu chains" and/or intracluster connectivity within Ethereum L1 isn't even a 5% solution. Chainlink is the only protocol that *already* does: Data (Risk parameters, continuous price updates, NAV, Proof of Reserves, etc.) - Interoperability between all blockchains, public and private - Compliance (KYC/AML/Sanctions list, etc.) - Privacy (Confidential computations required to protect sensitive information) - Connectivity to existing financial systems (Swift, etc.) - Connectivity to AI Agents - and more Now you see how trivial a single blockchain is compared to the true problem. But it doesn't just end there. We've all these extra things to add into the transaction. Are we gonna use multiple separate solutions for each, each with their own architectures, security models, etc.? No, what we need is a fully verifiable, decentralized runtime environment to orchestrate everything a transaction needs. Enter the Chainlink Runtime Environment. Every single operation in a transaction (from the list of requirements above) is fully verifitable, tamper-proof, traceable, and auditable. The Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) is what orchestrates the full lifecycle of these transactions. Just look at the quotes from DTCC CTO and the slide from the workflow they just demoed at SWIFT's SIBOS conference. No blockchain even comes close to fulfilling this.
