LiUNA Local 183 is proud to continue our partnership with after BREAST CANCER (ABC), an incredible organization dedicated to supporting women as they recover from breast cancer. 🩷 On September 27th, LiUNA Local 183 was honoured to serve as a Presenting Sponsor of the 14th Annual Pink Diamond Gala, helping raise funds for the ABC Care Kit!, ABC Thrive, S|HE Thrive and other essential programs that provide women with the care, resources and support they need following breast cancer treatment. An evening celebrating achievement, family and the opportunities ahead. 🎓🧡 Last night, LiUNA Local 183’s 28th Annual Scholarship Awards honoured 116 students with over $1 million in scholarships as they pursue their post-secondary education. Through the Local 183 Scholarship Trust Fund, the children and grandchildren of our members and retirees receive support to take the next step toward their futures. Behind every recipient is hard work, ambition and a family whose pride we were honoured to share. Since 2006, the Fund has awarded more than $11 million to over 1,200 recipients - a lasting investment in our union families and our communities.
