Check out the progress being made along the all-new Ontario Line, where new subway tunnels are being dug under downtown Toronto for the first time in six decades.
Once complete, this 15.6 kilometre subway line will put more than 230,000 people within walking distance of transit and connect commuters from across the Greater Toronto Area.

Congratulation to @LDoerkson, British Columbia’s next premier, and the BC Conservative Party on their historic election victory.
I’m looking forward to working together as we unlock our natural resources, continue to break down internal trade barriers and build a more competitive and united Canada from coast to coast to coast.
I also want to thank David Eby for his years of dedicated public service and wish him and his family all the best. Premier Eby has been an important part of Team Canada as we stood up to tariffs and worked together to protect Canadian sovereignty.

Courthouses must be places where justice can proceed safely, free from violence, intimidation and disruption.
That's why our government is strengthening security infrastructure and measures to protect everyone who works in and relies on our courts.

This morning, I had the pleasure of joining Mayor Drew Dilkens, Mayor Gary McNamara, Parliamentary Secretary @mckelvieAJAX, and MPP @AndrewDowieMPP to announce up to $84.4 million for the City of Windsor and the Town of Tecumseh collectively, through the Development Charge Reduction Program.
This funding will support new housing and infrastructure to keep both communities growing and thriving. By cutting the cost of development, we can create better conditions to build and provide more families in Windsor and Tecumseh with a place to call home.
Thank you to Mayors Dilkens and McNamara for your strong leadership.

A beautiful evening celebrating the CIBPA Hamilton-Halton Excellence Awards alongside remarkable leaders who contribute so much to our community and help shape its future.
I was humbled to receive the Professional Excellence Award and accept it with gratitude on behalf of the LiUNA members and families we proudly represent, our community partners, and the generations of Italian Canadians who came before us. They arrived with little and built so much, not only for our families, but for the communities we all call home.
Carrying their legacy forward is both an honour and a responsibility, to leave our communities stronger than we found them, while remaining proud of the Italian roots that helped shape who we are, something my parents instilled in us at a very young age.
Congratulations to my fellow recipients: Dennis Concordia, Lidio Mancini, Joshua Santucci and Marisa Mariella. It was an honour to be recognized alongside you.
Thank you, Charlie Agro and congratulations to Sergio Leuzzi, President of CIBPA Hamilton-Halton for your leadership, and everyone who helped make the evening such a meaningful celebration of excellence, community and Italian heritage.

Always impressed by the generosity of our community — families who turn loss into legacy.
It was uplifting to join @StevenDelDuca and @nadeem_mahmood to welcome a $100,000 donation from Asif Khan in honour of his late wife.
This donation will support STEM education for over 600 students at the new Tanya Khan Public Elementary School, a beautiful example of light in the darkness.

Last year, Ontario secured an agreement that eliminated federal duplication for the roads to the Ring of Fire.
This summer, we got shovels in the ground on the roads to the Ring of Fire five years ahead of schedule.
Today, @fordnation and the Prime Minister announced that the Federal Government will match Ontario's existing $1 billion commitment to build the roads.
With tariff and trade uncertainty, this is another step forward as we advance responsible resource development that will create 70,000 good jobs and unlock $22 billion for Canada's economy.
