If you believe that Indy split, then I’ve got oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you.
"People are tired of politicians running for office trying to just stair-step their way up to the next places... When somebody is doing that just to gain power, that's somebody you can't trust to do the right thing for the will of the people."

The office of @RobSandIA was closed for 252 working days over the past two years. Iowa does not need a part time Governor.
It’s time for IOWA FIRST not Aspen First.
LFG!!

Just a reminder for all the polymarket is destiny stuff that Lula was at 15% the day before the election.
"The ultimate metric we're tracking is do Iowa's kids choose to stay or go. You're not going to want to stay if our cancer rates are high... if our public education is in the bottom half, or if our family farms are dying off... This is what we need to fight for."

.@ZachLahn: "You have an Auditor holding press conferences calling out 50-person religious schools in a rural community. Meanwhile, one of the largest school districts in the state... misallocated tens of millions of dollars... When you find out that's happening in a school district, you go forward and say 'what can I do to help?'"
🚨 Iowa City Schools has overspent its capital projects fund by *$45 million* over the last four fiscal years.
Rob Sand was too busy doing town halls accusing 50-person religious schools in rural Iowa of buying booze with voucher funds to notice.

And if you quadruple that number, then divide it by 1.2M, you wind up with 5.33%. Emerson and Marist both have 18-29 at 15%. Ain’t gonna happen - to say nothing of how comically lopsided their samples and splits for young voters are. Flashing red lights for Iowa Dems.
Rob Sand claims that he has no other income outside of his state salary.
In 2022, his salary was $103,212... That same year, he personally donated $131,000 to his Auditor campaign and an additional $30,000 to the Iowa Democrat Party.
He donated more money to his own campaign than he made as a state employee.
Rob is actively hiding how wealthy he is from Iowans-- and it's because it would reveal that he's a billionaire trying to buy an election.
There will be far less ticket splitting than in 2022, when there were three statewide Dem incumbents on the ballot and neither the Gov nor Sen races were actively contested. Further, the composition of the R early vote (vs scale) suggests greater R intensity. Ds are lagging.
Iowa Early Voting Update 10/25:
I wanted to jump into Iowa since I had not yet.
Basically what we are seeing is something between 2022 and 2024. Democrats are doing better than 2024, but worse than 2022 (reverse that for Republicans).
The other change is that Independents have more share this year, which in the early vote likely will benefit Democrats more in the early vote.
That being said, the early vote is typically much less of the overall vote especially in midterms. Using 2022 as an example, the early vote was about 30%, where in 2024 it was about 40%.
For example, Democrats win the early vote (in 2022 they won it about 60-40%) and Republicans win the election day vote (in 2022 they won it 63%-37%). Those %'s might change this year but it gives a decent idea into how things typically go with the early vote to election day vote.
It seems like with where we are right now, Iowa will end up with a higher early vote (and total) than 2022. Rs will continue to chip away at the registration lead this week that Ds have so far, but expect Dems to win have about a 13% lead (give or take) by the end of early voting.
What will be essential is to see how many Rs come out on Election Day. That is where these races will be won or lost for Rs.
The other large question here is how are independents splitting? We will only really know that when early votes drop (normally first) and we can see what splits are happening based on that. Republicans will want to keep swings down as much as possible. I do think we will see some increased ticket splitting in this state, whether or not that is enough for Zahn to overtake Sand...we will find out.
Invest America Act was always a “yes and” idea.
Yes, and still support traditional charities.
Yes, and keep the sacred promise of Social Security.
Yes, and unite employers, families and philanthropists to directly support kids.
A new platform for our country’s social contract that adds, not subtracts; that unites, not divides. 🇺🇸
