We could do that, or we could LOL, Lorax.

Wait, de facto Americans? Do you mean Latin Americans?
Ha ha ha. I am laughing about this. I'm going to laugh about this for hours.

I... legitimately do not know how they admit to that. It's California! You don't need to cheat (most likely!)

I feel like those are two different situations.
This is not a battle pass.
It's just time-gated progression that requires an active subscription.
But it's not a battle pass.

To be fair, they're probably trying to just stay out of the inevitable drama. I wouldn't read it as anything besides them not wanting all that clutter in their notifications.

Which is a shame, because in DAO, Shale handles "what is the self" so much better than this.

If I were to pitch a comic (and I, like all nerds, have dozens of ideas bouncing in my head at all times), I'd be honest: I'm a super casual fan of comics. I know X-Men from the arcade game and the TV series, plus a few random comics here and there. I could barely tell you about Amazing Fantasy 15, etc.
Being honest is always better than posing, and keeps you from humiliating yourself by saying that someone drew a cover this year who has been dead for years.

I am.
A diversion is good for someone who did something minor, and not dangerous. Pot possession. Maybe shoplifting.
A first time DUI offender *is just lucky no one died.* You shouldn't get a softer sentence because you got lucky. (But I'll understand I might be a bit harder on this than most people.)

I mean, divorce. If you really want to sleep with someone who is not your wife, you probably should do the divorce first. And not "play Subnautica at 4 in the morning" with your coworker as code for "bang on the couch at the office."

To be fair, warriors have the greatest variety of theoretical builds (twohander, two weapons, sword and board, bow), so having multiple warriors is fine.
We have rules. If you start making exceptions, people start saying things like: "Well, he's a nonviolent offender." Or: "He was here a really long time."
Hard rules lead to hard outcomes.
It's going to suck; there will be good people we wish we could make an exception for.
But once you start, that's how the left sticks a wedge in. "Wait, wait, wait. That guy gets to stay? Why not THIS immigrant? His home sucks too! He's been here awhile!"

There's no good reason to spend taxpayer dollars to track down people like this—who've lived here peacefully for decades, worked hard, started families—so we can send them to countries where they have no ties. It's cruelty for the sake of it, and it's not making us better off.

Polygon, understanding things? What next, IGN scoring things fairly?
