Luckily, I am old 🤣 Daniel and have really come to see the old saying: “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it” come true over and over with Las Vegas. Because I am older and have been loving and coming to Vegas since 1984, I have seen history being made, history being lost and people not learning from the past. Back before the large scale tear down and build up on The Strip, Las Vegas didn’t have as much going for it, other than it was a hot or freezing desert many months and in the middle of nowhere with little to do without spending a lot of money gambling and drinking..sounded like a stupid investment. But then Las Vegas started to change, adding more non-gambling / non-drinking investments (other than All You Can Eat buffets of course) to draw in larger crowds and increase revenue (and hopefully profits). Heck, I saw a pyramid, a castle, the Eiffel Tower, Rome (not built in a day as history has taught us 🤣), large bodies of water, etc. built… it was truly magical times. Believe it or not, these locations along Las Vegas Blvd in Sin City are businesses trying to make a profit and these days, many of the companies are not privately held…so they have lots of partial owners to make happy with profits 🤔 I could go on (being a business management major, a computer geek since the first day a computer class was offered in high school and other things and all 🤣), but I think I can stop there with Las Vegas because the story isn’t much different from other business history, it’s just the activities of Sin City are unique in many ways… and many of us are so passionate about Vegas. Thanks Daniel for always being willing to speak the truth even if it puts yourself on the line… I am trying to learn from your history 😃
