I'm pretty sure the refugee charities don't need the #CelebrityTraitors winnings. As the excellent @CharlotteCGill has been documenting for many months, these charities are already well funded by unsuspecting taxpayers to the tune of MILLIONS
Omg Bash gave his money to CHOOSE LOVE - โfor queer refugees and displaced peopleโ - and Romesh donated his to the Refugee Council. The Refugee Council received ยฃ41,588,000 from taxpayers between 2021-25 and Choose Loveโs total income for 2025 was ยฃ12,593,084! They do not need the money. So many small, struggling charities could have done with the help and publicity! #celebritytraitors

Ha using Partygate as your reason to justify not being a โLeft wing commentator and activistโ isnโt the win you think it is Mr โMy pinned tweet was about the downfall of Boris for about three years after the fact.โ
This is utterly SUPERB! @RobertJenrick calls Paul Brand a "left wing commentator and activist" to his FACE on national TV!
And he's absolutely right.
He didn't like it ONE BIT.
Glorious! ๐๐ฅ
Absolutely love this woman! Well done @HJoyceGender ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
โIf my husband takes my phone away from me because he doesnโt want me contacting people, thatโs coercive control. If I do that to my child, that maybe responsible parentingโ
Well said @HJoyceGender! #BinTheBill

The last Tory parliament was the worst on record for stagnant living standards.
Hold my beer, says this Labour Parliament.
Weโre on track to be even worse.

Funny how the majority of the negative replies to this post are from anonymous accounts with hardly any followers based in โฆ the EU ๐๐๐
The rest are from a bunch of simpletons still unable to accept democracy and who believe the UK can rejoin the EU uniquely without signing up to the EU Treaties. ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ

Brexit is and always was a class issue.
The middle class are still furious at the inconvenience of it being more difficult for Ollie or Jemima to go to Uni in Italy, or go inter railing round Europe on their gap yah. (They can still do those things btw)
Theyโre fuming that the oiks voted to make them fill in a few more forms to get their au pair a visa and theyโre raging that they have a bit more trouble popping over to their holiday home in France.
They were never in danger of being undercut by Eastern European builders taking their jobs and they were not concerned at large corporations bringing in hordes of cheap labour pricing out Brits on low incomes.
The working class voted for Brexit and ten years on the middle class are attempting to overturn that democratic vote.
Labour is now the party of the middle class which is why Burnham is trying to appeal to them by negotiating freedom of movement with the EU.
He knows it would be disastrous for the working class he claims to represent but he knows who is voting for Labour now.

The British people worked harder than any group in history to end the slave trade.
The idea that we should now pay "reparations" is absurd, and calling people "racist" to get them to shut up is disgusting.
Neil is absolutely right.

Anyone STILL citing the failed Dublin Agreement as the reason for small boats is fundamentally dishonest.
Was trying to think of an โorโ to add to that sentence but there isnโt one.
Replying to @hailes_joseph @Telegraph
No one is surprised by this - Labour are trying to categorise their absurd ยฃ50bn secret Chagos Islands surrender deal as military spending

Oh dear โฆ hereโs Precious Andy explaining in 2016 that the free movement of people has destroyed jobs in the UKโฆ
Heโll say anything for power. But you must know that by now.
Itโs just a race to the bottom hey Andy?

A reminder of what Burnham said in May:
"I am not proposing that the UK considers rejoining the EU, I respect the decision that was made at the referendum."
Now he wants an "honest" conversation about the EU after he lied? You canโt trust a word he says.

The Prime Minister seems very conflicted on Brexit.
Ahead of the budget tomorrow, he's announced the removal of import tariffs on over 100 products like baked beans, chocolates and fertilizer.
This is a freedom you don't have as an EU member at all.
