While opening one of the books of my Father - Dr. T N Ramachandran - I discovered a letter dated 23.02.2006 from Late Shri APJ Abdul Kalam Ji - former President of India
In the said letter I could see that Shri Kalam had fully gone through the Translation Work of my father of the divine poems in Tiruvachakam by Sri Manickavasagar .
We could see how deeply Shri Kalam was interested in Tamil Literature and how erudite he was.

The Chennai Corporation has closed down Nageswara Rao Park in Mylapore this morning. The *claimed* reason,the park is closed for maintenance.
But a good number of police personnel have been deployed at both entrances of the park. Do they always have police manning the closed gates when the Park is undergoing maintenance?
I am told that this has been done only to stop Tamil Nadu citizens observing International Yoga Day in the park today.
Remember, Hindus had to go to Court to get approval for celebration of Pran Pratishtha of Sri Ram Mandir?
If the Tamil Nadu police are allowed to properly perform their duties of ensuring law and order, preventing crimes like sale of spurious liquor, 40 deaths could have been prevented.
But their important job today seems to be preventing yoga observance.
Soon, Will it be preventing school children sporting tilak on their foreheads?

Recently, Dhruv Rathee @dhruv_rathee has published a video titled 'Aurangzeb and Modi'.
The entire video is full of factual blunders, false equivalences and downright fraudulent claims. Its purpose is Hindu holocaust denial.
The following is the gist of his video :
1) Shivaji Maharaj was 'Secular' like Congress. He worshiped Sufis and had Muslims in his army.
2) Modi=Aurangzeb.
3) Aurangzeb did not have any religious fanaticism, but simply used religion for his purpose.
4) There was no Hindu Muslim conflict in India before the advent of Hindutva, BJP, Godi Media and 'whatsapp university'.
5) Hindus were never oppressed by Muslims. Hindus were never enslaved by Muslims. Hindus and Muslims lived together in perfect harmony until the advent of Hindutva, BJP, Godi Media and 'Whatsapp university'.

On the subject of’Thaali’, there is a custom of making the young children wear what is known as ‘Aimpadaithaali’, right from Sangam days. The Aimpadai, five weapons of Mahavishnu namely Shanka, Chakra, Sword, Mace and Bow are embedded in a dollar chain and worn by children. This is believed to ward off the evil.
Pandyan Thalayalanganathu Cheruvendra Nedunchezhiyan went for a war when he was too young and was wearing a ‘Aimpadaithaali’ says Purananooru. (தாலி களைந்தன்றும் இலனே)

On 10.11.2023 I had brought the issue of illegal constructions of 150 shops in temple land right in front of the Rajagopuram of Sri Arunachaleswarar temple, Tiruvannamalai- an ancient and architecturally important temple - before the Hon’ble Special Bench that was hearing temple matters in Madras High Court.
After a quick hearing the Hon’ble Division Bench was pleased to direct that all construction activity in the temple site should be stopped IMMEDIATELY.
Today when my Writ Petition came up before Hon’ble 1st Bench, Govt and @tnhrcedept ‘s Special Counsel submitted that they are NOT proceeding with the shopping complex construction.
Victory for Temple Devotees!
