Here is the 📹 from the Cabinet on Tuesday. Great to see the First Minister recognising the clear message from children and young people to include them in policy development.
First Minister @HumzaYousaf has co-chaired the annual Cabinet meeting with children and young people. The #CabinetTakeover is an opportunity for Ministers to hear directly from children and young people about what matters to them.

We have been doing the "insights into wellbeing" course with @YouthLinkScot's Orielle helping young people to understand their #emotions & #thoughts. The tea bag experiment helped us to learn how our feelings can brew if we dip them in too long #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek

.@GlasgowCC is one of very few organisations in Scotland taking positive action to improve diversity; this is undoubtedly needed. There are strong national commitments to teaching workforce diversity, inc. at senior levels. HTs, please talk to your staff. They need to understand.
I posted this on a Primary FB page and not one positive comment relating to the importance of diversity in education. All mentioned is it legal and all those commenting were white. White privilege alive and well.

There is no place for racism nor for clear incitement to racial hatred as many have witnessed since Suella unashamedly attacked Pakistani men as a whole. As a British man of Hindu heritage I condemn this govt for its blatant dogwhistle politics and scapegoating of the vulnerable.
