Excellent! It is time to challenge the decolonisation agenda and its reductive racial narratives. Ethnic minority pupils should not be defined by victimhood and grievance, nor white pupils by ‘inherited guilt’ or presumed ‘privilege.’
‘My proposal? Not one penny of public money should be funding this rubbish.
These ideas are destructive and dividing, and they must go. You can decolonise all you want on your own dollar, but no public money should come your way.’ 👌
The right can no longer afford to be squeamish about this. Progressives, after all, are not timid. Despite being a minority in society at large, they have swept through the institutions with devastating power. And they must be met with equal, or maybe greater, force.
That will require bruisers who can cut through the inevitable crocodile tears and sophistic objections.
The de-decolonisers must be versed in the nonsense they are fighting, in order both to understand it and to articulate the case against it clearly and firmly. It's way past time for the progressive academy to be taken in hand – and, where necessary, defunded.
Am I going too far? I have to wonder what High Priest Nekht would've made of people in ancient Egypt who spread strange racialised lies about Egyptian society. We can never know, but I suspect he would've dealt with them rather more harshly than I would.

Nine Christians murdered in Jordan. No relentless sharing of their faces. None of you know their names.
@bbcnews couldn't even be bothered to tell you that two more died of their wounds.
An attack on Christians in Jordan does not fit their narrative. So it must be swept aside.

Antisemitism is a crime, not an opinion, nor is it just "harm." Be brave, Britain. Be like the UAE and call it a crime. Antisemitism is not a “form of harm.” Stop sanitising hatred with comfortable language. A paper cut is harm. Antisemitic threats, incitement and violence are crimes. When Jews are targeted with terror to make an entire community live in fear, that is terrorism. Words matter. Euphemisms protect nobody. Stop downgrading antisemitism. Name the crime. Confront the hatred. Protect Jewish children and students, and stop being cowards scared of Islamists or bowing down to the Muslim Brotherhood lobby.
Schools should recognise antisemitism as distinct form of harm, review says bbc.in/4hSgtoc

The Free Speech Union was proud to support @BrodieMitchell1.
It is not a crime to say that a keffiyeh looks like a “tea towel”.
We wish Brodie all the very best with the rest of his studies.
‼️Huge Update: No Further Action!! One tea towel comment. One year of @SurreyPolice hell. Someone started on me. I said their keffiyeh looked like a tea towel. That was the “crime.” Interviewed under caution. Case now CLOSED. Free speech is not illegal. This madness ends now.

Rooney's next novel will be entitled "The Sledgehammer". A sublime and unequalled exploration of police officer spines and righteousness in troubled times. You won't be able to put it down. You may also not be able to get up.
Hundreds of authors, including Patrick Ness, Damian Barr, Nikesh Shukla and Juno Dawson have signed an open letter in support of Sally Rooney and Faber following the news that the publisher will no longer supply her works in the UK due to government legislation designating Palestine Action a terrorist organisation.

This is not the behaviour of a strong. proud nation.
Hedgehogs are delightful but they are not heroes.
Our progressive leaders fear and despise our history and its great men and women. So they devalue our currency with whimsy.
Pathetic.

I honestly didn’t expect this level of pushback against the Greens. It’s genuinely heartening.
EXCLUSIVE: More than a dozen Labour MPs have reported the Green party to Sussex Police and the EHRC over its ‘Zionism is racism’ policy, The Spectator can reveal.
Zack Polanski’s party was plunged deeper into crisis this afternoon after politicians, led by former Home Office minister Mike Tapp, urged police in Brighton to examine whether events at the Green conference may have crossed into criminally actionable racial or religious hatred against Jewish people.

I mean, it’s not like we didn’t have any clues that the Greens were about to become overtly antisemitic.
Deputy leader Mothin Ali went on camera praising Oct 7th, which is conveniently forgotten about by much of the media.
Zack Polanski is trying to claim on #bbcqt that he has no idea what his own deputy said after Oct 7.
Well that’s weird Zack, because this clip of him expressing support for Hamas went viral.
Of course he knows how deeply problematic his own deputy leader is.

In a remarkable act of self-sabotage, Green party members have passed a motion declaring that ‘Zionism is racism’ by 1022 to 813 votes.
This motion, grotesquely passed on Simchat Torah – the Jewish holiday on which Hamas carried out the deadliest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust – makes the Greens the first party of electoral significance in the UK, and possibly in Europe, to adopt extremist, racist views as policy.
This could end their ambition to enter mainstream British politics.
The motion goes well beyond criticising Israeli policy – it adopts a radical view that denies Jewish right to self-determination and reinvents Zionism as a ‘European settler-colonial’ project.
