I worked with a dedicated volunteer network to collect petition signatures in all 77 neighborhoods and 50 wards of Chicago.
Every signature came with a conversation about the way forward for Chicago.
I am fully confident in the quality of our signatures - we have more than the amount required to make the ballot.
Unlike my challenger, Mr. Kelly, there is no question that I am a legal resident of Chicago. I am the only candidate in this race with the proven fiscal crisis management skills necessary to meet our City’s urgent needs.
Other candidates have every reason to fear running against me.

Massie has done all the things Trump was supposed to do.
Massie was 'voted out' (with a RECORD amount of money spent to make sure he was voted out).
And we're stuck with Trump, who continues to crush our society into a fine powder.

Thomas Massie 2028
Replying to @JohnQ27899645
Thomas Massie embodies my hope that an upstanding man with great intelligence, combined with common sense, a big heart and sterling integrity, can be drawn to leadership for humanitarian reasons and stay in the fray out of his convictions for a better country and a better world.

If Massie were to run for president as a 3rd party, he’d clear 5% trigger federal matching funds and in so doing create a durable new lane in politics, if he got 10% (very doable) that party would legally become a major party.
In the course of getting that 5%+, he’d build an email list of millions and assemble a new donor class.
Could you then from that dataset find 4-5 guys in purple, winnable districts to elect to the house as a wedge that can shut the whole congress down if they dont give us peace and address spending and the debt?
Could you arrange that party in such a way that it could endorse Rs when that makes sense, endorse Ds if that ever makes sense, or run its own people and thus weaponize its ballot presence into torqueable leverage?
I think not only can it be done, but I think it is far more likely to happen and with less effort and money than winning a primary dominated by out of touch boomers and where the coalition that would be assembled in the general is constrained out of the process.

Embracing children with Down syndrome and other people with disabilities, the ailing and elderly whose lives are deemed unworthy to live by assisted-suicide advocates---Pope Leo XIV is a counter-witness to our age. (As beloved Francis was, too!)
It's all so distant from the Crusader LARPing, crypto-Nietzschean flexing, and angry chauvinism that define the faith for a subset of mainly young men online. It is to be hoped that at least some of them can glimpse the real thing in Leo's public ministry.

I agree with Anthony that this is a hugely important picture, and Pope Leo is the most important American in the world right now.

In Ancient-Future Worship, Robert E Webber argues that the worship of the ancient church retells and reenacts God's story of creation, fall, incarnation, and glory. Glad to have my BCP handy to do just that, Sunday after Sunday.

My favorite picture this week. Saw two great games @RateField and 2 @whitesox wins over the @Rangers . This @Pontifex thing is just amazing! The guy is awesome, but what he's done for our Sox is off the charts!!!
