If you've ever walked through Nairobi CBD, you know just how overwhelming it can get.
The bodas, car congestion, narrow walkways and the constant struggle to navigate through people and obstacles.
Now imagine experiencing this as a person with a disability.
Article 54 of our Constitution guarantees PWDs the right to reasonable access to all places and public transport.
As we work towards a modern, organised pedestrian friendly Nairobi, we need accessible crossing points, wider and unobstructed pavements, and urban planning that considers PWD needs from the very beginning. #VIP

Our Constitution envisages an Independent Police Service and an Inspector General who is responsible for the enforcement of law and order without direction from anyone. Thats why our Courts require the IG to be the one to produce people who have been lawfully arrested. Unfortunately this system canโt work where the regime sets up parallel police squads away from the IGโs command. This is exactly why LMM insists on Constitutionalism and the Rule of Law. I will not be surprised if the IG shows up and tells the court, just like he did in the Twaha Mwaipaya case, that he doesnโt know where lawyer Abshar Abdi is.
