1) I've just caught up with Starmer's statement on Southport. He's wrong on 2 counts.
He said 'Britain now faces a new threat.' But young men motivated by a fascination with extreme violence are not new. The man who murdered Bibaa Henry & Nicole Smallman in 2020 is an example.

There is nothing ‘new’ about terrorist attacks being perpetrated by lone operators. Two MPs were murdered by the same. Wrong of Starmer to say that this is new and different.
