The windows you see in direct center field at Polo Grounds were to the clubhouse of both teams. The stairs leading to the clubhouses were in play. The home clubhouse/stairs were on your left and the visitors were on the right.

Same here @KevG163…my Dad always said Sam Huff was tougher than Dick Butkus and Ray Nitschke combined…and Ray was his all-time favorite player.

Thinking about my dad this morning, upstairs🙏. He loved Sam Huff. "He was an animal", he'd always say. Dad started going to Giants games as a season ticket holder in 1959, fresh out of the Navy. He said he'd lock in on Huff with the binoculars and follow him on every play. RIP
