Paris Hilton was 19 when she filmed a sex tape with her boyfriend. About two years later her ex released it. She says people called her a slut, she hid in her house for months, and she canceled the press tour for her own TV show.
In a CNN interview she calls it betrayal. It was not some random guy, she says. It was someone she was with for a few years, and she thought she loved him.
She grew up looking up to Princess Diana and Grace Kelly. She says he took that away from her.
She says she never wanted to be known for it. People assume she is something she is not, she says, and call her a slut because of one night with someone she was in love with. She will have to live with it for the rest of her life and explain it to her children.
The Simple Life was days from airing. She did not leave her house for several months.
Years later, on Jay Shetty's podcast, she says she was a child who was in love and trusted someone. She says it would not fly today and he would be in jail.
What hurt most, she says, was people believing she put it out on purpose.
She sued, and reportedly settled for $400,000 plus a share of the tape's profits. What the tape made for everyone else is disputed.
She built an empire on the blonde persona. She says it was armor.
He released it once. She has been explaining it for more than twenty years.
Was Paris Hilton a rich heiress who got what she asked for, or a 19-year-old betrayed by the man she loved?
Here's hoping!
BREAKING: SWEET KARMA! Democrat Scott Colom, who is about to win the Mississippi Senate seat, only ran after his MAGA opponent stopped him from obtaining a lifetime federal judge position!
This is one of the most glorious backfires in American history...
Back in November of 2022, President Biden nominated Colom to the federal district court in northern Mississippi. He received support from the state's senior senator, Republican Roger Wicker.
But Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith, who Colom is now leading by 1,764 in the vote count from Tuesday, refused to support the nomination. In fact, she blocked the Senate from even considering him by withholding her blue slip, an old Senate custom that lets one home-state senator veto a judge.
She defended her indefensible move by insisting that he couldn't be trusted with such power because of past support for transgender rights. In reality, she was just pandering to the racist MAGA base by blocking a Black Democrat.
But if she hadn't blocked him, Colom would be a judge right now. Instead, he's poised to take Hyde-Smith's seat, flipping a seat that a Democrat hasn't been able to win since 1972 in a state that handed Trump 61% of its vote in 2024.
While the race has not yet been called, if Colom maintains this lead, as he seems likely to do, the seat is his.
Please ❤️ and share if you can't wait to see Colom in the Senate!

🎥 RARE FOOTAGE: Russell Brand “apologising” (not seriously) to Andrew Sachs by singing, with Jonathan Ross joining in.
This is from the infamous 2008 Sachsgate scandal. On 18 October, during a pre-recorded episode of The Russell Brand Show on BBC Radio 2, Brand and guest host Jonathan Ross tried to phone actor Andrew Sachs (Manuel from Fawlty Towers) for an interview. When he didn’t answer, they left a series of vulgar voicemail messages on his answering machine.
Ross blurted out that Brand had “f***ed” Sachs’s granddaughter (Georgina Baillie). What followed were several more calls that were supposed to be apologies but quickly turned into more of the same crude banter.
In one of them, Brand sings a mock apology song (“I’d like to apologise for these terrible attacks, Andrew Sachs… I said some things I didn’t of oughta, like I had sex with your granddaughter. But it was consensual and she wasn’t menstrual…”) while Ross joins in from the background.
It broadcast on 18 October, with almost no reaction, just a couple of complaints. A week later the Mail on Sunday ran the story after contacting Sachs, who was unhappy (he hadn’t approved the messages being aired and said they hurt him and his family).
That coverage turned it into a major scandal with tens of thousands of complaints. The BBC apologised, Ofcom later fined the corporation, Radio 2 controller Lesley Douglas resigned, and Jonathan Ross was suspended for 12 weeks without pay. Russell Brand resigned from the BBC over it (his Radio 2 show ended).
It became one of the biggest BBC controversies of the decade. The fact they treated the “apology” as just more comedy is what made it so inflammatory at the time.
Russell Brand convicted.

Well done jury 👏🏻 justice for the victims, do a few bad sociopathic apples exist when it comes to false reports? yes BUT the majority of women are not unhinged and what some ppl don’t understand is these women don’t want fame or money and nobody normal has any desire to go to a court where they are degraded, humiliated, judged and called liars infront of a packed room, they do it for justice.
why do they wait so long? because often they don’t think in a one off case they’ll be believed but seeing a pattern of women speak out gives them confidence that they might have a CHANCE to be believed. Although looking at many comments online so many are v quick to call r-or victims liars.
here’s a statistic. out of roughly 70 thousand rape allegations made in the UK last year roughly 5% went to trial!! not because 95% of women are unhinged lying lunatics with a desire to go to court and be degraded but because rape is notoriously hard to prove and clearly too many ppl don’t understand facts about how victims can act before and during and after the r-pe.
Sadly r-pe victims rarely get justice

🚨🇧🇷 OMG! Young woman DIES after falling through window from a hotel’s 7th floor in Brazil
Security footage shows her sitting on the ledge when the frame gave way. She fell onto a canopy below and did not survive.
The man with her collapses against the wall in pure shock, staring out the empty window in despair.
She was in the city for a poker tournament. Police are treating the death as an accident.
A split second decision. The window couldn’t hold and she was gone 😢
