Re Tenacious D ( short for defence), the greatest tragedy is Jack Black dumping his long time comedy partner to preserve his Dreamworks voice acting career. It was a bad improvised joke (that people laughed at). It seems Jack’s “D” is not very tenacious after all. Not very rock.

The intent behind this is noble and one I encourage, but the point being made here is just wrong. TV, like a great film or book, can transform a life. For example, Jane Austen wrote obsessively about reading. It was a critical part of her day. TV is not a lesser art form.
