Someone explain to me why more small business owners aren’t using X to find customers
I believe most business owners have no idea how powerful this platform is
This month alone I’ve received:
83 DMs
113 phone calls
All from people who found here
I SELL MATTRESSES nothing Sexy
Not software
Not AI
Not coaching
Not courses
Not seo
A product people buy on avg 8–10 years
I’ve only been posting here for 1 year and 11 months
I read people saying everyday X is only good for networking, politics, sharing ideas, or building a personal brand
Couldn’t be further from the truth imo
This platform is whatever you’re willing to make it
If I can build a customer base talking about mattresses, what’s stopping you from selling what you do?
My gmail account is how I save everyone thousands on mattresses
Yall should be thankful I don't pay $10 a month
You all are the suckers!
I was going to buy $100k of mattresses from @mattressguy_
But didn't because he was using a gmail address
This is what Mattress Mafia experiences from the Mattress guy!
Got me ready to run through a brick wall!!!
Putting this out there if you’re looking for a mattress now or in the future…
I’ve purchased 2 mattresses (different rooms) from @mattressguy_ in the last 18 months and it’s been the best experience (and value) I’ve had.
Extremely knowledgeable + personable. Super responsive. Actually cares about how you sleep and what you need - not just pushing a sale. He also gets the product to you quickly.
Only downside: his warehouse isn’t right around the corner from me (NC based) for easy testing. But he had a solid plan for that too.
Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Stryker Digital is the best in the game
Kicking ass for my boy @mattressguy_
great guy
great family
if you need a mattress do not look anywhere else
Had a customer ask "what should a 42 yr old adult married budget for a mattress? makes 100k/ yr spouses income will double that within 2 yrs"
here is my response
"I think of budget more of how it correlates to longevity
3-4k is going to get you a bed that last 17-25 yrs
2-3k somewhere between 12-17 yrs
1-2k between 8-12yrs
So the proper budget is whatever makes sense for you and your family
Sorry if you’re wanting an exact number I’m not the guy that does that"
Im probably leaving money on the table
I might not be considered a great salesman to most people
Im okay with those things
I like sleeping knowing I'm doing right by people
What's the worst mattress you've ever slept on?
Hotel? Dorm? Your in-laws' guest room?
Lets here the story
Im about to rock a few worlds
Warranty Length and Expected Lifespan are two very different things
Warranty is based off R&D of set care standards
Lifespan is dependent on actual care
Ive seen mattresses that haven't come close to warranty length
Also seen them far exceed it
Part of it depends on how you care for it

A customer FaceTimed her mom so she could watch me set up the bed
I've never felt more supervised in my life
If your mattress sags really really bad it may not be your mattress
Often your box or slats could be broken leading to the major dip
You don’t always need the most expensive mattress
The most expensive might not be right for you
You need the mattress that properly fits
Your body
Your comfort
Your durability needs
Your budget
There's a ton of variables that of into the right mattress not just whatever the most expensive is
The 3 biggest mistakes I see mattress shoppers make:
1. Buying the sale, not the bed
2. Picking the softest one in the store
3. Not asking what's inside
Avoid those and you'll be fine
DM I received "So I caved and bought a new mattress yesterday. Kingsdown from MF. Probably paid to much but I couldn't get my wife to think about ordering one without 'laying on it first' Sorry brother"
Sorry for your loss was my response
Conversation continues
"What would you have recommended, haven't gotten it yet. 2 weeks out"
Asked size and looked up specs to match
"Queen $5500"
"Holy crap you got smoked"
"Ha. Thanks"
"Higher quality specs, same design $2799 with me"
Truth is he stuck with his purchase and I truly hope it works out for them!
I try to learn from every sale and simply get better
I didnt get him on the phone quick enough
Might have got him to trust me
And saved him $2700
