An estimated $6.7 trillion in US data center investment by 2030. So who pays for it?
@JohnFMauldin looks at how hyperscalers and neo clouds are funding the AI buildout, and at what the credit default swap market is saying about CoreWeave.

I can't think of a better way to get future generations of Americans to care about all the important work SpaceX $SPCX is doing.... to learn about this stuff, and get excited about building toward a better future.
This is much better than some sort of managed public benefit fund or something like that. He's talking about his personal shares, too, not issuing new shares.
And it's doable. If he gave one share of SPCX to all 72 million or so kids under 18 in the US, that would be about 1.1% of his total SPCX holding if my math is right.
And while we don't know anything yet about eligibility or the mechanism through which he'd attempt to do this, the existing Section 530A accounts (the "Trump Accounts") could be a way to do it.
John Mauldin is bullish on AI’s long-term impact. He’s also spent two years warning about the spending behind it. Now he sees cracks in the financing, starting with Oracle and CoreWeave.
“There will be losers.”

Everything about it was perfect. And thanks to all those who helped with the details so I could focus on the content. We'll be doing it again next year.
Thanks to speakers: @TgMacro, @EricBalchunas, @barryknapp, @VD718, @Seawolfcap, @JanvanEck3, @CultishCreative, @MebFaber, @cafreiman, @pboockvar, Mark Lapolla, John Burns, and Marcin Zdunek.

This week, Kelly Green could be forced to sell AbbVie shares below market price. Here’s why that would still count as a win, and how covered calls can fit into an exit strategy.
