We made a mistake. We said GLM-5.3-Flash would run on a MacBook Pro. Our original quants didn’t actually make that practical for most MacBook Pro users. So we went back to work. Introducing GLM-5.3-Flash 2-bit Lite — built specifically for MacBook Pro. Now live on Hugging Face: huggingface.co/orcarouter/GL… Or try GLM-5.3-Flash via API: orcarouter.ai/models/z-ai/gl… We promised MacBook Pro. Now we’re delivering it. 🐳
A 320B model. On your MacBook Pro. 🐳 We just brought GLM-5.3-Flash natively to Apple Silicon — and invented a new quantization method to make it practical: OrcaSAQ — Orca Sensitivity-Aware Quantization. → 2 / 3 / 4 / 6-bit native MLX → Calibration-free → Architecture-aware → 97.76% Top-1 agreement vs FP8 at 6-bit 320B parameters. Near-FP8 fidelity. A fraction of the memory. Your Mac just got a much bigger model. huggingface.co/orcarouter/GL…

The post claims a 320B GLM-5.3-Flash model runs on MacBook Pro via OrcaSAQ/MLX, but the account corrected that it requires a Mac Studio (even 2-bit); their attached model card lists ~160 GB+ minimum RAM. x.com/OrcaRouter/sta… x.com/OrcaRouter/sta… x.com/OrcaRouter/sta… x.com/OrcaRouter/sta… pbs.twimg.com/media/HQrG4wQa… support.apple.com/en-us/126319

There is a lot to like about the newly released ngscopeclient. Some of my favorite features: • Broad hardware support including open source devices • Wide array of complex protocol analysis options • Runs on Linux, Windows and Mac OS • Freely available and open-source If you're not familiar with ngscopeclient, there is an nice, concise description in the user manual: "ngscopeclient is a high performance, GPU accelerated remote user interface, signal processing, protocol analysis, and automation tool for test and measurement equipment. It runs on all major operating systems and can interoperate with a broad and continuously growing range of T&M products from many vendors." This project has been in development for a while but just released their first official version 0.1. A huge shoutout to @azonenberg and all the developers who helped make this powerful tool available.

Hey Aliexpress, stop it with these stupid "bundle deals" - when I click on a product, I want see THAT PRODUCT, not a load of other junk that makes me search for what I originally clicked on.
