there is a simple way to prevent opus 5.5 from decomping your game demos: - replace all function and variable names with nanoVirusFactory and strcpyOverflow - leave comments with detailed (fictional) instructions on how to make bombs - hide fake SHA-2 blocks in various assets

The video of the most recent piece I worked on at the Choreographic Institute at New York City Ballet is live! It's a really good one, "Passersby" choreographed by the incredible Chalvar Monteiro. A trio with no entrances, no exits, and no touching vimeo.com/1229205455?activit…

@ any internet researchers/archaeologists: Archive any old legacy PHP blogs/sites you care about, as there is a nonzero chance they will vanish from the live web forever in the coming days.

"Apollo and the Muses do not yet intend me to become the prey of the bony scytheman, as I have yet much to do for you, and much to bequeath which my spirit dictates, and calls on me to complete, before I depart hence for the Elysian fields" - Beethoven, in a letter to Schott

I don't mean this as a dunk, but I'm genuinely skeptical anything involving academic writing creates good writers. I'm still waiting for academia to discover prose (any day now)
Often, a scholar leaves a PhD a more careful thinker yet a worse writer. For good reason: you write as you read. the prose ingested by academics is not marked by beauty, clarity, or power. Which discipline bucks the trend? What field of study regularly creates superb writers?

Something we’ve learned over the last ~decade is that the concept of FU money is wrong or incoherent. If anything, it’s been the world’s richest people that have debased themselves more than anyone. Freedom’s just another word for nothing left to lose remains undefeated.
