Announcing Cogo Explore! A new way to discover cities.
Introducing Cogo Explore.
Pick a theme, how you want to move and how much time you have, and Cogo builds a route through the city that loops back to where you started.
Most trips in Cogo have a clear destination: the office, a parking spot, the station. Explore is for the other kind of trip. A free afternoon in a city you don't know yet, or a Saturday in the one you live in.
It starts with what you're into.
Food & Drink routes take you through the neighbourhoods where the city actually eats, from market halls to the corner spots locals swear by.
Photography routes find the viewpoints, streets and squares that make a city look its best, so you come home with more than the usual postcard shot.
Architecture routes connect the landmarks and the facades most people walk past. In Brussels, that could be 75 minutes from the Grand Place to the Palace of Justice and on to the Sablon. Five stops, under 3 km.
There are also routes for History, Hidden Gems, Street Art, Parks & Nature, Shopping and Nightlife. If none of those fit, set a custom theme and Cogo builds around it.
Choose one hour, two hours or a full afternoon. Cogo splits the route into short legs, adds a note on what you're looking at at every stop and navigates you there, in the same app you already use to park, charge or grab a bike.
Explore works on foot, by e-scooter, by e-bike and on public transport, in every city across Europe and the US.
Open Cogo and tap Explore to find your first route.

Introducing Cogo Explore!
After 12+ years in Brussels, I know how easy it is to live in a city and only ever see the same few streets.
Visitors have it worse. They land, open five apps and end up in the same tourist loop as everyone else.
@Cogomobility has always been about getting from A to B: parking, shared bikes and scooters, EV charging and transit in one app.
With Cogo Explore, we're adding the part that makes the trip worth taking.
You set your preferences. Cogo suggests routes worth riding, like the architectural gems of Brussels or its Art Nouveau highlights.
Then it navigates you leg by leg, with context at every stop, on foot, by e-scooter, e-bike or public transport.
Navigation also supports all shared bikes and scooters from your favourite brands - @limebike,@Dott , @voitechnology, Zeus, @nextbike_de and many more..
We're rolling this out across all cities in Europe and the US starting today.
Give it a try and let me know what you think.

One of the biggest pain points for shared bike and scooter users is the turn by turn navigation in cities
If you use one of the popular map apps, you don't really know where to park, navigate around no-go and slow zones.
Every city has different rules and these change often.
Cogo is solving this issue, so that every single shared micromobilty journey is frictionless.
What if your navigation doesn’t know a scooter isn’t allowed on that road? 🛴
Shared mobility comes with geofences, speed limits, parking rules & operator restrictions that regular maps don’t account for.
@Cogomobility is building navigation that does.

One of the things that has always bothered me about shared micromobility is that riders are often forced to use navigation tools that weren't designed for shared scooters and bikes.
We've all been there.
Ending up in a place without a drop off zone, stuck in a slow zone or even worse, vehicle coming to a standstill in a no-go zone.
Traditional navigation apps can get you from A to B.
But they don't understand many of the things that matter to shared mobility riders:
👉 Where a trip can legally end
👉 Parking and drop-off requirements
👉 No-ride and slow zones
👉 Operator-specific restrictions
👉 Rules that can vary from one city to the next
Over the past year, our team has been building Cogo Navigation to solve this problem.
Today, after launching across Europe, we're bringing it to the United States, starting with San Francisco.
@Cogomobility Navigation combines:
👉 Multimodal route planning
👉 Turn-by-turn navigation for shared scooters and bikes
👉 No-ride and slow-zone awareness
👉 Parking and drop-off guidance
👉 Operator-specific rules and restrictions
There is still a lot of work to do, but it's exciting to see the product expand beyond Europe.
San Francisco is just the beginning. 🌉

🚀 We’re bringing Cogo Navigation to the US
After launching across Europe, our multimodal route planning and turn-by-turn navigation is now live in San Francisco.
Unlike generic navigation apps, Cogo is built for shared mobility, guiding riders with scooter and bike-friendly routes, operator-specific rules, parking zones, slow zones, no-ride areas, and more.

This is the biggest leap in shared micromobility in a very long time! 🚀
Two weeks ago, we added turn-by-turn navigation, tailored for shared bikes and scooters across Europe in @Cogomobility
Little did we know this would become one of our users’ favourite features.
I used it extensively in Berlin last week, and all my trips were frictionless. The routing was better, and Cogo guided me to the correct parking spots at my destination.
I’ve generally always used Google Maps or Apple Maps for navigation, but I haven’t switched back since getting used to Cogo navigation.
Sometimes, the biggest leaps in an industry are the simple things.
The more you reduce friction for users, the more people will use shared micromobility in cities.
Thanks to everyone testing the new feature, and thanks a lot for all the feedback.
Currently, routing and navigation work well with @limebike , @Dott , @voitechnology, and Zeus Mobility across Europe.
More operators and regions are coming soon.
Cogo Parking expanded to Brussels! 🚀
Brussels traffic is unavoidable. The "last mile" struggle is now optional. 🇧🇪
We’ve all been there: You drive into Brussels, get stuck in the inner ring, and spend 30 minutes looking for a parking spot right next to your destination, only to end up stressed and late.
Today, Cogo is launching a smarter way to enter the capital: Seamless Paid On-Street Parking.
But we aren't just adding a "Pay for Parking" button. We’re connecting the dots between your car and the rest of the city.
The Cogo Strategy for Brussels:
1. Park outside the chaos: Find and pay for on-street parking in the quieter zones of Brussels directly through the Cogo app.
2. Switch to 2 wheels: The moment you park, Cogo shows you every nearby shared bike and scooter (@Dott, @voitechnology, bolt, Villo,...).
3. Finish fast: Skip the city-center gridlock and zip to your final destination on a bike.
We’re helping users turn a frustrating drive into a seamless "multi-modal" trip. Park, pay, and hop on a bike - all in one map.
Brussels is the heart of Europe, and it’s time we started moving through it like it’s 2026. 🚀

We’re launching trip planning on Cogo today.
You can now plan end-to-end journeys combining micromobility and public transport, all in one app.
The key difference is how micromobility routing works.
Cogo plans trips based on actual drop-off zones in cities.
Until now, most apps ignored this. Users would pick a bike or scooter and hope there was a parking bay near their destination. Often, there wasn’t.
With Cogo, you know where you can park before you start your trip.
This means fewer failed trips and a more reliable A to B experience.
Live in Europe today. Global rollout coming soon.
