I spent 22 years in the Parachute Regiment before becoming a secondary teacher. Believe me when i say teaching is the harder job. And I can’t think of another profession where so many folk who’ve never done it profess to know so much about it.

Meghan said a letter had been sent to the Met she didn’t say they were investigating it she said she was assured it would be investigated I’m assuming the Met contacted the police where he was living at the time so if it turns out to be true it’ll be their fault for no follow up

This might just be a Scottish thing, but when I was a boy, turnips were largely used instead of pumpkins for Halloween. Much more challenging to carve out a face.

A more solemn Percy Alert....the 9th Duke served. He died in Belgium in 1940. Commemorated here ⬇️. He was 27. He is buried at the Esquelmes war cemetery with the type of headstone that is usually found at war graves.

The monarch indeed does not personally own the Crown Estate assets, the constitutional entity The Crown however does. Neither the monarch nor the govt can dispose of those assets so it would be fallacious to call it the Nation’s Estate.
