South Korean researchers have developed a biodegradable patch or gel that can stimulate teeth to naturally regenerate dentin—the hard layer beneath enamel. After the dentist cleans the cavity, the patch is placed directly onto the tooth. Its bioactive molecules, including peptides, activate stem cells inside the pulp, prompting them to rebuild the lost dentin. It’s real. It’s inbound. And it’s not from here.
The object we posted about yesterday - A11pl3Z - has now been officially designated 3I/ATLAS, marking only the 3rd confirmed interstellar visitor ever observed by humanity.
First spotted on July 1 by the ATLAS telescope in Chile, its high-velocity, hyperbolic trajectory set off alarms immediately. ESA just confirmed it: this thing came from outside the solar system.
A time-lapse from July 2 via Las Cumbres Observatory in Hawaii shows the comet slicing through space, a ghost from another star system passing through ours.
Not an asteroid. Not a moon. Not ours.
And not staying long.
Eyes up. Interstellar just got real again.

Spotted by NASA’s ATLAS telescope system, comet 3I ATLAS is now confirmed as the third known interstellar object.
Moving at 70 kilometers per second on a hyperbolic trajectory, it is not from here and it is not staying.
Astronomers worldwide are tracking its gas and dust tail, still unsure if it mirrors local comets or defies all precedent.
Closest pass to the sun is expected in October.
Scientists estimate it is between 5 and 50 kilometers wide before it vanishes into deep space.
