Three coaches I’ve seen mentioned around that I would be extremely disappointed in if NC State hired them. Scott Satterfield, Chip Kelly, and Dan Mullen.

Folks have constantly complained about NC State being "predictable" and running on 1st down when in reality there are 73 FBS teams that run on 1st down at a higher clip than NC State. Fun stat.

NC State will play the worst EPA per dropback QB that they've faced by a country mile when they play Cal on Saturday (potentially 2nd worst once they play Syracuse on Nov. 14th). Hopefully they can take advantage of the worst offense we've played this season.

As a fan WHY would you financially support Philip Rivers and not another coach?

UNC athletics is trying to write the textbook about how professional level experience/“success” actually has very poor translation to experience/“success” at the college level. It’s a different beast.

NC States first official decommitment following the firing of Dave Doeren. His three official visits over the summer were supposed to Indiana, Minnesota, and NC State, but committed the week before his Indiana visit. Boasts other offers from Miami, Pitt, Arkansas, etc.

Folks acting a certain way for Doeren not thanking Howell is something. Howell was with Dave officially for barely 4 months, so not sure why Doeren would actually thank him (firing or not) for his tenure at NC State. Probably wasn’t anything Howell had time to support Dave with.

Dave Doeren looks and sounds like a man that will surely have some role in the NC State football program again very very soon. Looks good, looks refreshed, and isn’t defeated! Good for Dave.

Good for Maryland for hiring a consultant to help them thoroughly do their due diligence on the best candidate to run their program moving forward.

NC State, ECU, and Penn State are the only three schools above 50% to have a losing record.

Dickert and Eck are the only two of this Top-10 I would have in my Top-12.

Whether you wanted him fired last week, this week, end of season, never, it doesn’t change the objective and that’s to win ball games and move forward. The players sound like they are ready for the task, and as fans you show up and back them up.

NC State remains one of the more disciplined teams penalty wise for the year, while they get a Cal team that ranks 3rd worst on the year coming across country. Got to capitalize on their known penalty issues!
