Hasan Piker banned from entering Britain. Sally Rooney unable to sell her books here. Now Andreas Malm barred from the country. All for speaking out against Israel’s genocide of the Palestinian people. This is Andy Burnham’s Britain. An authoritarian Labour government that continues to arm a genocide while criminalising those who dare to oppose it. Shame on them all.

I dont have a lot of faith in what Andy says tbh. They promised £200 million for Grangemouth, they promised £200 million for carbon capture then changed their minds. They want Scotland as a battery and dumping ground for nuclear waste. They have nothing but contempt.

The truth is they are deindustrialising Scotland in favour of England
'We owe it to the people of all four nations to get to a point where the UK government is working in a collaborative way with the devolved governments,' Prime Minister Andy Burnham says in his opening remarks at today's devolution summit in Glasgow. trib.al/U5KzZNU

4 nations. One thinks it has the right to impose its will on the other 3. Maybe it’s time to tell the 1 to get stuffed.
'Andy Burnham's devolution agenda meets a clash of philosophies' Tensions are growing between devolved governments who want more powers for their parliaments, but as Sky's @robpowellnews explains, this isn't what the PM is suggesting. 🔗trib.al/nGLjSIL

You do know that Scotland sent Labour and their unionist friends packing in May’s Scottish Parliamentary Elections? Wales did the same. Why he thinks he can preside over anything is a mystery to us all. And the recent budget showed us all about (one way) collaboration.

Only could the UK make out that Scotland having vast amounts of natural resources, which by the way the UK have been using to keep afloat for decades alongside continuous falsehoods of decline, sound like it’s a terrible thing for a country to have. They must think we’re daft.
BREAKING: North Sea oil and gas tax receipts are forecast to collapse to 'close to zero' in just five years' time, with major implications for Scotland’s finances The Office for Budget Responsibility has also said that North Sea output will decline by 10% annually

Britain's homeless veterans will be delighted to know that their PTSD, broken marriages, and poverty have not been in vain. As they hunker down in their sleeping bags in shop doorways the length and breadth, they will do so comforted by the knowledge that Ukraine is to receive a further £10 billion from an unelected prime minister and his chancellor. The fact that Ukraine's luxury car market has experienced record-high imports and sales this past year is of course entirely coincidental.
🚨 NEW: John Healey has announced Ukraine will receive £10bn in additional economic and military support "We called him this morning... he told us we made his day" #Budget

We're into day three of Burnham and Healey's welfare merry-go-round of confusion. Perhaps they need to just stop giving interviews for a few days. Chill and let the dust settle. This is only making things worse.
