I’ll take a shot at answering one of these good questions. These poor young people are not dying for "no reason". They’re dying because Vladimir Putin's Russia invaded Ukraine and Ukrainians don’t want to be murdered. I hope this helps.

What's actually happening in Ukraine, Elon, is that a brave people are fighting for survival against a brutal Russian invasion. They're defending their homes, their families and their freedom. History will remember who stood with them and who made excuses for their aggressor.
What’s actually going on in Ukraine is that there is a massive incentive difference between the elites and the people. The former have grown very rich off the hundreds of billions flowing to Ukraine, while the latter’s children are conscripted to die in trenches.

Is it really appropriate for politicians’ faces to appear in advertising paid for by taxpayers? This ad would have worked just as well without the minister in it

This is very serious. Patches should be out by 4pm SA time today. Cloudflare is offering some mitigation in the interim.

Sad to see so many South Africans prostrating themselves before Donald Trump. People who should know better. People I once thought were liberals, but who clearly have little regard for the values liberalism is supposed to represent.
