Got more to do with an often painful & uninspiring 18 months at Chelsea than it does the Charity Shield game. You have given Maresca one of the biggest jobs in world football, I saw nothing at his time at Chelsea to suggest he deserves that. Could easily be gone by Christmas.

Writing off a full season after the Community Shield is irrational…even if we had a bad first 3-4 games it would be. Just look at last season! We also got turned over by Liverpool for this dinner plate a few years ago and then won the Treble. 👍🏻
