I don't care what he wrote before 12, everything apart from the Ruth Dr and Gatt that he wrote after 12 was retarded and shit, theres a reason his run had the lowest viewing figures of the shows history before RTD returned and made that figure plummet further

Massive narcissist, the character and the actor. Fuck them both.

What would you have changed about the 13th Doctor's run?

Not Canon. Peter Dougan Capaldi is a Scottish actor, director, singer and guitarist. He portrayed the twelfth, and final, incarnation of the Doctor in the science fiction series Doctor Who. 1963-2017 RIP Killed by RTD, murdered in front of millions.

And that's MY beef. Jodie is a great actress (Broadchurch was proof of that), but she was miscast as THE Doctor in my opinion. Ditto with Ncuti as 15. In my view, the BBC should have stopped at 12, and then created a new show featuring Jodie as a new Time Lady (or a regenerated version of a previously known one from earlier seasons). My overarching point is that the BBC, in its effort to make the show more inclusive to a very small portion of its audience, ended up poisoning the IP with elements that need not being introduced in the first place. A flamboyant Time Lord? No problem.. just make him a new character. A manic Time Lady? Ditto. Again, no hate from me, but as a lifelong fan (I was literally born a couple of weeks after its November 1963 debut), I personally thought that the editorial changes to the makeup of the Doctor were misguided. But ultimately, Doctor Who is the IP of the BBC, and they get to call the shots. If consequence of certain plot developments is the wholesale abandonment of the franchise by a majority of fans, well, it is what it is.

It started to go wrong at the end of Peter's regeneration scene. Her first words as the Doctor were an instant red flag. Previous reactions have ranged from surprised to Nonchalent. But that wasn't good enough for the First Female Doctor. She had to be delighted at herself.

RTD just wants David Tennant's Doctor & Billie Piper's Doctor to be together in a couple of specials for Nostalgia bait As a lazy way to get back viewership As the Jodie Whittaker, 2nd David Tennant & Ncuti Gatwa seasons were ratings disasters

Unfortunately for her she will be known as the exact pivot point where "The Doctor" intersected transgenderism where someone who had been a bloke ~13 times was a woman & felt like one in seconds ... Then the also retconned the show to make The Doctor have started female also

What are your thoughts on the 13th Doctor?
