To protect market integrity in our crypto up/down markets, we're updating how these markets resolve. What's changing: Starting August 7th at 12 am UTC, affected markets will no longer resolve based on a single snapshot-in-time price. Instead, resolution will use a time-weighted average price (TWAP), with the averaging window scaled to the length of the market (detailed below). Liquidity rewards: To support liquidity through this transition, we're adding $1M in liquidity rewards across all impacted markets through the month of August. Market Details: - All crypto 5 min markets: 30 second TWAP - All crypto 15 min markets: 60 second TWAP - All crypto 4 hour markets: 60 second TWAP Developer access: Chainlink TWAP testnet feeds are available now. Mainnet feeds and Polymarket RTDS delivery are scheduled to launch on August 4, 2026. At launch, developers can consume TWAP prices directly through Chainlink Data Streams or through Polymarket’s public Real-Time Data Streaming WebSocket. Integration instructions, feed IDs, SDK examples, and testing guidance are available here: docs.polymarket.com/market-d…

2026 is the year we take back lost ground in computing self-sovereignty. But this applies far beyond the blockchain world. In 2025, I made two major changes to the software I use: * Switched almost fully to fileverse.io/ (open source encrypted decentralized docs) * Switched decisively to Signal as primary messenger (away from Telegram). Also installed Simplex and Session. This year changes I've made are: * Google Maps -> OpenStreetMap openstreetmap.org/, OrganicMaps organicmaps.app/ is the best mobile app I've seen for it. Not just open source but also privacy-preserving because local, which is important because it's good to reduce the number of apps/places/people who know anything about your physical location * Gmail -> Protonmail (though ultimately, the best thing is to use proper encrypted messengers outright) * Prioritizing decentralized social media (see my previous post) Also continuing to explore local LLM setups. This is one area that still needs a lot of work in "the last mile": lots of amazing local models, including CPU and even phone-friendly ones, exist, but they're not well-integrated, eg. there isn't a good "google translate equivalent" UI that plugs into local LLMs, transcription / audio input, search over personal docs, comfyui is great but we need photoshop-style UX (I'm sure for each of those items people will link me to various github repos in the replies, but *the whole problem* is that it's "various github repos" and not one-stop-shop). Also I don't want to keep ollama always running because that makes my laptop consume 35 W. So still a way to go, but it's made huge progress - a year ago even most of the local models did not yet exist! Ideally we push as far as we can with local LLMs, using specialized fine-tuned models to make up for small param count where possible, and then for the heavy-usage stuff we can stack (i) per-query zkp payment, (ii) TEEs, (iii) local query filtering (eg. have a small model automatically remove sensitive details from docs before you push them up to big models), basically combine all the imperfect things to do a best-effort, though ultimately ideally we figure out ultra-efficient FHE. Sending all your data to third party centralized services is unnecessary. We have the tools to do much less of that. We should continue to build and improve, and much more actively use them. (btw I really think @SimpleXChat should lowercase the X in their name. An N-dimensional triangle is a much cooler thing to be named after than "simple twitter")

Chutes revenues are going in the right direction and... 15-19k/day revenues with auto-buyback. 201k $TAO liquidity in the token pool. Halving not too far-away. Permissionless and TEE AI inference. Owner holdings are locked. Miner holdings are low. Sentiment Neutral to Bearish. @chutes_ai on Bittensor

Hippius just sent $50k of alpha to MEXC. taostats.io/extrinsic/737806… No we are not selling any alpha, but in order to meet liquidity requirements for alpha listings, we need to have a certain amount of alpha held there. We also need your help, ...we need just over 12 people to send $10 of SN75 alpha to MEXC to meet the minimum accounts threshold of holders ... of course we will be asking our friends and family, but you are also our community, so it would be really helpful if you are a hippius holder and have a MEXC account, please help us out and keep a tiny amount on the exchange. We pushed to be the first subnet listed, and it is not surprising to us that exchange demand is not high in the current market, but we know the time will come, and it would be a great shame to be de-listed over such a trivial amount required. Thank you from the Hippius team.

Hiring a dev agency to build your MVP? Read this first. I’ve worked with dozens of non-technical founders. You’d be surprised how often I hear the same story: - “We hired a software development agency. Six months later, we’re over budget, behind schedule, and stuck.” Most founders don’t realize they’re walking into a trap until it’s too late. Here are the 10 most common frustrations I’ve seen founders face when outsourcing to dev shops: 1. Poor communication. Especially with international teams. Updates are vague, slow, or lost in translation. 2. Bait-and-switch on talent. You pay for a senior team, but juniors are actually writing the code. Product quality is poor and founders can’t tell until it’s too late. 3. No product thinking. Agencies act like feature factories. They build what you ask, not necessarily what you actually need. 4. Vendor lock-in. No documentation, no handover. You can’t switch providers or hire an in-house team without starting over. 5. Over-engineering and scope creep. MVPs don’t need Kubernetes and microservices. But bloated tech = more billable hours and deeper dependency. 6. Missed deadlines. You’re told it’ll take 8 weeks, but it takes 20. Communication dries up, and so does your momentum. 7. Post-launch abandonment. They "finish" the build, then disappear. Any bug fix or iteration triggers a new contract discussion. 8. Zero transparency. No GitHub access, no staging link, no idea what’s built until they send you the “final version”. 9. Misaligned incentives. You want speed, learning, and traction. They want bigger scope, longer timelines, more billables. 10. No ownership mindset. They don’t care if your product succeeds, just that they delivered “the scope.” Here’s the truth: Most dev agencies are built to deliver projects. But startups are not projects. They are living, changing experiments that need speed, feedback, and strategic decisions every week. That’s why I always tell founders: If you’re non-technical, bring in a Fractional CTO or Tech Advisor early on. Someone who can: - Translate your vision into a lean, testable product - Choose the right tools (not the trendy ones) - Hire or manage the right team - Avoid lock-in, over-engineering and wasted months You don’t need a 12-person agency. You need one person who knows how to build what matters and avoid what doesn’t.
