What a fun / enriching experience to lend mentorship to JM 11th graders as part of the @CityofRochMN @DMCMN Equity in the Built Environment initiative. These students put in the work, and totally showed up to make their pitch! Downtown night daycare. Genius! Cc: @DowntownRochMN

Today we honored the remarkable life and legacy of Mayo Clinic’s longest-serving staff member, Sister Lauren Weinandt. The newly dedicated Sister Lauren Weinandt Staff Gazebo will serve as a connection point for staff – past, present, and future – as Sister Lauren intended.

After a late night we finished sodding all of the greens yesterday. The crew absolutely killed it throughout the project. Such an amazing experience! @RochesterGCC

Last week we broke ground on the Sister Lauren Weinandt Staff Gazebo to honor Sister Lauren. Upon completion, the gazebo will serve as a connection point for staff and a point of reflection toward Mayo Clinic’s long history and legacy starting with the Sisters of St. Francis.
