A surprise engagement for the Princess of Wales (it wasn’t publicly announced in advance) at Café 98 in Hoveton.
It’s @EACH_hospices first and only café, located within a retail store.
The Princess was keen to recognise the dedication of volunteers and to highlight the important role played by charity retail and community fundraising in supporting children's hospice care.

This is corruption, pure and simple. BBC Scotland knows Stephen Flynn couldn't have seen the emails because they arrived when he was entering the Holyrood committee session. Andrew Kerr confirmed it this morning. The BBC is *knowingly* circulating a baseless smear. That's bad.

Buggey was born on the liner Winchester Castle and sailed 200,000 miles over a two-year period. When the liner returned to England to be taken out of service in 1960, Buggey was left by himself because he could not transfer to another ship with the rest of the crew without spending six months in quarantine. Not wanting him to be lonely, customs officials decided to place him in a basket and escort him to his new ship, ensuring that he did not set a paw on English soil along the way. Successfully avoiding the need for quarantine, Buggey rejoined his crew and continued sailing the world.

The BBC fell over itself to compare Scotland with England when the PISA results were published yet not one reporter compared England with Scotland in two key areas highlighted by Andy Burnham. Public ownership of railways and free personal care. Now why would that be?

Word had spread in the tiny village of Pulborough that the princess was there this morning and a small group of locals stood outside the village hall as she left. The Princess of Wales shook every hand, FaceTimed a poorly mother, helped a toddler to jump and cooed over a dog!
