NSUI Jamia Millia Islamia unit leaders Zeeshan Khan and Mohammad Faizan, have been sent to judicial custody at Tihar Jail for three days amid ongoing protests demanding the restoration of the students’ union and elections at Jamia Millia Islamia.
According to a statement shared by Youth Congress leader Gurmehar Kaur, Delhi Police picked them up from outside the university gate and held them for 24 hours before producing them before a Special Executive Magistrate. The statement rejected police allegations that they were disturbing public peace, calling their arrest an attempt to intimidate students and suppress the movement.
The arrests come as students continue their protests and hunger strike amid locked and welded gates, restrictions on gatherings and the shift to online classes.

NSUI Jamia leaders Faizan and Zeeshan dragged to Tihar Jail just for standing at their own campus gate.
24 hours of illegal police detention and a 3-day Tihar remand all for demanding student union elections and a democratic voice in Jamia.
The Modi government is so rattled by questioning youth that peaceful student rights activism gets hit with police crackdowns.
They think locking up students and leaders will kill the movement, but it only reveals how desperate this administration is.
Drop the bogus charges. Stop treating student activists like criminals, restore campus democracy, and set Faizan and Zeeshan free NOW.

Indians cried and outraged for a Sri Lankan in Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, this is India - where judges cite Hindu scriptures Vedas and Manusmriti to sentence Muslim men to life for cow slaughter.
Not a whisper from the so called free speech warriors.

It has been over 12 years but the attacks on Muslims in the name of cow is not stopping.
All left-liberals who want to represent the voice of Muslims and the secular parties which get Muslim votes remain silent.
Any political Muslim voice is brutally hunted and supressed.

As was obvious if you knew the economic situation of South Asia, data shows that foreign migrants in SIR exclusions are basically a tiny rounding error.
Note that this number is all foreigners. Bangladeshis would be even lower. And Bangladeshi Muslims would be *even* lower.
India might have destroyed its electoral system to "catch" a few dozen "illegal" migrants. Insane.

Below is the list of 543 brands of anti cancer medicines with their revised MRP.
Check the existing MRP vs Revised MRP. Credit goes to Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers, Karnataka. Hope this is done regularly across India.
I welcome the move by pharmaceutical companies to cut the MRPs of anti-cancer medicines. Revised price lists are now being notified, with some drugs becoming cheaper by nearly 70% from November 9.
A bevacizumab 400 mg injection comes down from ₹42,000 to ₹13,136. One cycle of palbociclib drops from ₹9,787 to ₹3,147. Many patients who took loans or mortgaged their property to pay for treatment will now carry a lighter burden.
I urge every pharma company to complete this process quickly and transparently. Stockists, chemists and hospitals must pass on the full benefit to patients in need at the earliest.
Karnataka's Health Department @DHFWKA will continue to closely monitor the prices of medicines for critical illnesses such as cancer, heart and kidney diseases.
Affordable treatment is the right of every person in need, and we will keep working to make it a reality for every family.
