Every year on April 24th, Armenians around the world come together to commemorate the Armenian Genocide, a tragic event that took place over a century ago. One of the most powerful and moving ways in which this commemoration is observed is through the annual Torchlit March, held in Armenia and Artsakh. The Torchlit March is a solemn procession that takes place in the evening, with participants carrying torches and walking in silence through the streets. The march is a symbol of remembrance for the millions of Armenians who lost their lives during the genocide, and a tribute to the resilience and strength of the Armenian people. The Torchlit March is especially significant in Armenia and Artsakh, where the memory of the genocide is still very much alive. For many Armenians, the march is not just a way to remember the past, but also to demonstrate their commitment to justice and to the recognition of the genocide by the international community. The march typically begins at the Republic Squarel in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, and ends at Tsitsernakaberd, the official memorial site dedicated to the victims of the genocide. Along the way, participants stop at various points to pay their respects and honor the memory of the victims. The Torchlit March is a powerful and emotional event that brings together Armenians of all ages and backgrounds. It is a testament to the enduring spirit of the Armenian people, and a reminder that despite the horrors of the past, they remain united in their commitment to justice and remembrance. The marches in Armenia and Artsakh are organized by the ARF Youth Union of Armenia and Artsakh respectively. 🎵: @gorgeouzbeats

"Every year on April 24, we mark the 1915 Armenian genocide. "This year, we should also reflect on the present day, for Armenians are again facing a new set of atrocities as the world watches on with indifference." 📝 @mrtommybecker ti.me/3H5DYHu

Sometimes I wish every player was mic’d up on the court during NBA games. I wanna hear the chatter. But would probably be less authentic. Anyway, there was my once a year tweet. And yes I still want to hug Tim Duncan.

@Belmont_Ma Residents of Horne road should allow patrons of business’ in Cushing square to park on the street as long as they follow street signs. The parking situation is not easy for anyone. Residents are treating the matter very poorly and it is not the Belmont way!
