We’re going to the Moon!!!!!
Ad lunam Impulse! 🚀
We are proud to announce that @NASA has awarded Impulse two missions as part of its Moon Base program, an ambitious effort to establish humanity’s first permanent lunar outpost.
For decades, the Moon has been a place we’ve visited. Now, Impulse is delivering the transportation to make it a place we can call home.

As an @Alphaschool student for the past 7 years, I’d love to clear up some misconceptions:
“Alpha kids spend hours on screens every day.”
Alpha School: ~2 hours a day learning on screens.
Average public school: ~98 minutes a day on screens.
The numbers are close, so screen time isn’t really a fair criticism of Alpha specifically.
“Replacing teachers with AI is what no parent wants.”
Alpha doesn’t use AI chatbots to teach. In fact, they are banned during academic time!!!
The lessons are designed by learning scientists, and AI mostly works in the background.
Teachers become guides, which gives them more time to build relationships with students and coach each one individually.
Arguably, Alpha is more human than other schools.
TIL Texas Governor-elect @GinaHinojosaTX isn't just against school choice, she’s strongly against @Alphaschool, saying "If we have a generation of kids being taught by AI instead of teachers, we will raise a generation of sociopaths instead of productive citizens."

Gene Wu is what we call a boba lib - a high-status Asian progressive who is soft on crime, for open borders, and exploits racial grievances to dismantle America which he says is defined by white supremacy and racism.
Unsurprisingly, like all woke Asians, he has nothing to say at all about America's geopolitical rival.
Wu goes way further. He was involved with the Houston Chinese consulate which Trump shut down in 2020 due to subversive espionage activity. His father has been linked to a group of former Red Guards from Mao's Cultural Revolution era who spout pro-CCP propaganda.
He is a fifth columnist and he is now the leader of the Texas House of Representatives.

This is the only issue that matters, and Dems want to destroy the most potent technology of all time that could rise everyone out of poverty and misery
They would rather rule over the ashes of the empire rather than see it flourish out of their control

Bolsheviks.
Scott Galloway calls Elon Musk a "traitor to the West" and invokes the executions of the Rosenbergs after WW2.
"We lined up the Rosenbergs against a wall. This is a traitor to the West, and he should be held to the same standards as every other traitor in the West."
*Applause*
These people are absolutely unhinged.

this post has so much wisdom in it i thought naval wrote it
and i don't think the author even realizes why
if you understand this properly, you can explain almost all political issues we see in the world today
you can't take care of your loved ones if you can't even take care of yourself. you can't build a functioning country if your loved ones aren't taken care of. and you certainly can't save the world if your own country is falling apart. responsibility has to expand outwards.
the problem with so much left-wing thinking is that it's backwards. it starts with the most noble sounding objective imaginable, "saving the world" or "climate change" or "poor migrants", and thinks about the most nice-sounding solution, without considering if the conditions required to achieve it even exist, and that's why so many apparently well-intentioned policies end up doing the exact opposite of what they were supposed to achieve.
they sound compassionate, but completely ignore incentives, tradeoffs, or second-order consequences
clean your own damn bedroom and put your house in order before trying to change the world
you will never be able to fix the world if you can't even get the order of your own responsibilities right

Peter Thiel's critique of European tech is sharper than most people quote it:
"In the social democratic European societies, it's acceptable to be moderately successful. It's not acceptable to be wildly successful."
That's not a cultural observation. It's a structural diagnosis.
Look at the pattern: Skype sold to Microsoft. Spotify relocated to New York and listed in the US. DeepMind sold to Google before it could compound. Klarna — one of Europe's most valuable fintechs — spent years being investigated and regulated the moment it hit scale.
The moment a European startup gets big enough to matter, the social contract shifts. Regulators, press, and public sentiment move from neutral to hostile. So founders learn to exit early — not because they lack ambition, but because the system taxes it.
Europe produces world-class talent and early-stage innovation. It just doesn't retain the compounding.
The constraint isn't capital. It's the ceiling culture places on acceptable ambition — and founders respond rationally to the incentives they're actually given.

Something I don't hear libertarians talk about at all:
"Other than immigration, I suspect no area of Trump policy will leave a more critical or lasting impact than what this administration has done with regard to federal personnel, curtailing the power of unelected bureaucracies and restoring the constitutional integrity of the executive branch under the guidance of the elected president.
Federal workers, as a share of the total workforce, are at their lowest point since 1939."
I am really tired of everyone blackpilling. So without further ado, the Trump W Master List: nationalreview.com/2026/11/t…

You must remember that all philosophy is a confession. People become obsessed with stoicism because they are naturally neurotic. That doesn’t mean stoicism can’t help you. If you are neurotic, it will help you a lot. Marcus Aurelius was neurotic. But it does mean you need to update your mental model of “this stoic guru will be stoic” to “this stoic guru will be neurotic.” Thinking the DailyStoic guy must be mentally stable is like thinking someone on anti-depressants must not be depressed.
That face you make when you read the Meditations of Marcus Aurelius 195 times and build an entire career off promoting stoic philosophy but still don't know what it means or how to apply it to your own life.
This is modern intellectualism in a nutshell.
All knowledge, no wisdom.
Virtue signalling without virtue.
