These social media pranks aren’t funny anymore. They’re getting downright cruel. A man was stocking Red Baron frozen pizzas in a grocery store when some idiots with a camera decided to make him the target of one of their stupid pranks. The man finally lost his patience and explained that he was already supposed to be home, had four children, was struggling to pay his mortgage, and had to get up at 5 the next morning to go back to work. And these fools thought it was funny to harass him while he was trying to earn a living. People are under tremendous pressure right now. They’re working long hours, trying to keep food on the table, pay their mortgages, keep the utilities on, and take care of their families. Everything costs more, and for a lot of families, there’s barely anything left after the bills are paid. You don’t know what kind of day somebody has had. You don’t know if they’re working two jobs, worrying about losing their home, or wondering how they’re going to buy groceries next week. And the last damn thing they need is some attention-seeking idiot shoving a camera in their face and playing stupid games for internet views. People are stressed enough without being deliberately provoked by strangers who think somebody else’s misery is entertainment. Have we really reached the point where we have to tell others to leave hardworking people the hell alone?
