Once upon a time, the concept of Omoluabi in yoruba land revolved around sound parentage, pedigree, education, respect, hardwork and diligence.
All have given way to new deliverables of brigandage, violence, fraudulent and questionable emergence.

If a man has to have his shop open on a Saturday so his family can feed the next day Sunday and his child's school is having a graduation party that same Saturday, sorry he will not be there.
If he is having an important business meeting that Saturday, he will not be there.
If he has to travel without fail that Saturday, he will not be there.
It's that simple.
Your anger and furious tweeting will not change it.
Life is not black and white, no matter how much righteous indignation you summon.
All that will happen is you will increase the bile in your bloodstream/heart from your furious tweeting.

A good time to talk about American storytelling here: this part was never captured in Black Hawk Down, the hit movie on the incident. I only knew of it cos my uncle was one of the soldiers then. But it's not recorded in our histories, not to mention our storytelling. Says a lot.

The Nigerian smartphone market is buzzing with competition, spearheaded by TECNO, Infinix, itel, and Xiaomi. Are the new HMD phones competitive enough to go up against the top movers and shakers?

Over the years, we have nurtured a sense of community through hangout events and dance events. We are continuing in that tradition of going beyond just being an online community to meeting up in real life to share in joy, laughter, and dance.

Country hard. But not everyone in Nigeria lives in the trenches or is looking for affordable products. There are those exclusive set of people who want the most expensive smartphones and no less.

"Subsistence agriculture didn't cause a turnaround in China's agricultural revolution. The great leap was a disaster. Other nations can learn the lessons without having to suffer it again"
Also, they didn't have armed militia blockading farmers from their lands

I was speaking on agricultural revolution of china in the 1980’s but I’ve got to say this. You like most Nigerians are incredibly naive to think there wouldn’t be growing pains when taking the leap.
