I’m not someone who brags about skipping most of the Oscars, but learning that they didn’t recognize Tobe Hooper in the In Memoriam makes me glad I didn’t see most of this year’s show. A great filmmaker continues to be disrespected even after he’s gone.

I’ve seen a lot of hateful criticism directed at GET OUT leading up to tonight’s #Oscars. I’m ignoring it all. I’m going to be in my living room, front and center at the tv, rooting my damn heart out for this movie.
