Ukraine has just opened another chapter in the history of warfare. During Operation Vivaldi, Ukraine’s 3rd Army Corps used a tactic it calls “Gryphon”: heavy bomber drones carried kamikaze ground robots across the front line and dropped them more than 10 kilometers deep into Russian-held territory in Donetsk.
Read that again. A drone flies over the battlefield carrying another robot. It crosses the front line, penetrates deep into the Russian rear and drops a ground combat machine there.
And then the real cyberpunk begins. The robot lands, moves on the ground under remote control, uses its cameras to find Russian positions and attacks — while there is not a single Ukrainian infantryman anywhere near it.
Until recently, drones carried bombs. Then they started carrying supplies. Now they carry fucking assault robots.
The 3rd Army Corps says this is the first combat use of such an airborne deployment of ground robots anywhere in the world. Whether history ultimately confirms the “world first” claim is almost beside the point. The important thing is that this technology is already fighting.
This is no longer a PowerPoint presentation at some defense exhibition. No beautiful CGI video about the battlefield of 2040. This is Donbas. Right now.
Yesterday, a soldier had to cross that ground. Today, a machine crosses it instead. And if the machine is destroyed, you manufacture another machine. You don't bury another Ukrainian soldier.
War is changing faster than armies, generals and military academies can rewrite their textbooks.

People keep saying Trump term II is the most corrupt administration ever, so I built a model to find out if it was true.
I took the UN's definition of corruption, turned it into eight criteria and 100 points, and scored the leaders history remembers for looting their countries: Marcos, Suharto, Mobutu, Abacha, Obiang, Putin.
Then I put every president since Eisenhower on the same scale, both parties, with every exoneration counted right alongside the convictions.
Nixon scored 41 and no other American President scored over a 25.
Trump's second term scored a 91, which ties him with Suharto and Mobutu and puts him above Marcos and Abacha.
So he is not only the most corrupt president in American history. At this pace he finishes his term level with the most corrupt rulers of the last hundred years.

One component of Malignant Narcissism is SADISM. People don’t fathom how deeply Trump is driven by it. They will soon. Especially now, as his desperation grows and fear of losing aggregates with fear of dying.
In normal people, sadistic impulses are offset by caring emotion. Trump has none of that. He is a Black Hole. He enjoys inflicting chaos on the world and actually takes glee from others' suffering.
He defames women he's raped. He pokes fun at others' disabilities. He peddles fear. He induces outrage. He demands fealty or else. And speaking of "or else," he now makes threats multiple times a day, and does so every single day.
He sees enemies in ALL conflict and disagreement and sees it as competition and part of a zero-sum game - he has to win AND they have to lose - and THAT, is the ultimate underpinning of sadistic posture.
Of course, he didn't care when he botched Covid and it led to massive unnecessary deaths. Of course, he didn't care when he bombed 170 Iranian schoolchildren and rationalized it as an acceptable casualty of war. And of course, he refused to sign a bipartisan housing bill to benefit Americans, preferring to dangle the humanitarian benefit for additional partisan gain. And - did you see the venom with which he attacked another female journalist yesterday when she simply grilled him on his fake $5000 payments?
He literally doesn't care about humanitarian consequence. He literally doesn't feel empathy, shame, or contrition. And I am literally using the term literally - correctly.
Let's NEVER forget - he didn't just foment an insurrection, he savored it - even more so as it grew violent. Even Epstein once claimed that Trump was evil and liked to f*ck the wives of his closest friends.
He is well into the desperation stage - and we know this because he's begging and he's bribing. After desperation comes panic.
Normalize him at our collective peril. He is The Joker.
