Introducing Gemini 4 Carbon, it's a big jump over Argon which we released just 2 weeks ago.
Gemini 4 Carbon is SOTA on cyber, long horizon tasks, ranks #1 on Artificial Analysis V5, significantly improves on usability in domains like coding, and is more aligned.

I’ve been so inactive here but I just read this report and I KNOW WHAT THE FUTURE OF JOBS FOR CREATIVES WILL LOOK LIKE
I remember reading @contraben’s and @contralabs’s report on DISTRIBUTION being the MOAT in 2026 and beyond
The next quarter of the 21st century will take CREATIVES beyond AI’s capacity to allow people to create. Anybody and everybody will be able to CREATE but the future belongs to people with DISTRIBUTION
So, if you’re in the creative field, I’d highly recommend building your own jobs by building a distribution network that will enable you to sell your creative ideas to people who really need it
I have been building mine on @ProductHunt and for over 1136 days, consistently. I’ve worked with the most incredible founders, helped them build their own distribution systems and grow their products
So excited to see the future of creativity
AI is making creativity more valuable than ever before and..
we have 3 years of data to prove it.
Introducing the Creative Intelligence 2026 report from @contralabs.

"Mom how are we so rich"
"Your father tweeted 'we're fine-tuning a recursive agentic harness to orchestrate multi-agent swarms with self-improving RL loops at inference time' and a16z wired him a $50M seed check before anyone asked what it did"
Introducing ChatGPT for Dishwashing
GPT-6 achieves state-of-the-art results on dishwashing benchmarks for long-running jobs and difficult stains.
The Navier–Stokes Millennium Prize Problem is a $1 million challenge about whether the equations describing fluid motion can break down. In this video, I accidentally found a counter-example while trying to optimize my dishwasher. But in reality, OpenAI used 10,000 AI agents to find a proof in 88 hours: openai.com/index/navier-stok…

Claude Haiku 5.5 cost 12x more than GPT-6 Luna for the same scene 🐉
Both have the same API price, yet building the same animated voxel 3D pagoda island cost $24.96 on Claude Haiku 5.5 and $1.91 on GPT-6 Luna
Run both models via API -> atomic.chat

Curious about building AI-native companies?
I'll be speaking about that at the Claude Founder Salon this week.
I got a few invites to share if you want to come hang with me, @mikeyk, @djrosent, @jarredsumner and a bunch of fun peeps during #SFTechWeek

📚 Friendly reminder: Gemini 4 Argon has up to one million tokens as potential output.
an average novel is ~90K tokens
WTF, Google just beat Claude at writing
Gemini 4 Argon can write a whole novel
Google's new model just took #1 in Text Arena with 1,525 - 20 points above Claude Opus 4.6, and #1 in Creative Writing
The output limit:
> 1M tokens per response ( up from 64K)
> Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Astra cap at 128K
~750K words in ONE GENERATION ) an average novel is ~90K )

I work at Google DeepMind and yes I have tried the model known externally as “Argon”.
I can say this:
I don’t reach for Opus anymore for any work (like I did when 3.8 Flash was our top model).
I hope that it will soon be generally available for everyone to enjoy!
