Best news report of the day here - credit where it’s due to RTE 😂👏🇵🇸
And even some credit to the Judge today who fairly said:
“I am sure there is not a lot Kneecap can agree with His Majesty’s Government on”
And finished with “go raibh mhaith agaibh” 🔥

6 weeks ago today I found this little dog in a temple in Thailand.
She had once been a pet but was discarded to fend for herself. Her life was miserable.
We called her Butterscotch and you won’t believe how well she is doing today… (1/7) 🧵

If you’re not already following @NiallHarbison please do. He’s on a mission to spay/neuter 10,000 street dogs a month. He does great work & he’s a gem of a human.

This stray dog in Thailand brought little presents to the man who was feeding her for almost a year. Now he's giving her the greatest gift by helping her find a forever home. 13/10

Last Thursday I stumbled upon a ground of 16 street dogs with many illnesses and issues.
We went back the next day and it was more like 35-40 dogs. We started fixing them up.
Today was our second visit and we’ve had some massive impact… (1/10) 🧵

Mary Elizabeth Armstrong (18) and sister Margaret (21) were born almost exactly 3 years apart.
They died on exactly the same day because police and courts failed them.
Worse, they've been forgotten.
Today is the 50th anniversary of their deaths, this thread is for them. /1

I spent a good chunk of this mornings run removing tape/race signs from the Pennine Way. 😕
These were left by a race company 2 weeks ago.
I emailed them on Tues, tagged them on Insta and someone posted my screenshot onto their FB page.
No reply.

I can't understand the silence from powerful Irish voices on the obliteration of Palestinians. People focus on Bono, I think of his wife Ali, a UCD social science graduate like myself, vocal on many issues related to children & absolutely silent on Gaza. #SilenceHelpsIsraelKill

I know it’s a long shot, but Sarah, one of our lovely #AngelMums (lost her beautiful daughter Emily to a brain tumour recently) just had a hire car stolen in France, with luggage & passports etc but most importantly, Emily’s irreplaceable cuddly rabbits.
Pls share, just in case
