FINAL:
No. 8 Cambridge β 8
No. 25 Lincoln-Sudbury β 3
Warriors rallied in T6 to tie it up and take momentum, Cambridge created chaos with base runners & bunts to take it right back with a 5-run B6.
First playoff win for the Falcons in 16 years.

On 4/30 during our game vs WIT, Senior Mariano Jimenez needed 3 hits in the game to record his 100th hit. In the 7th inning, he doubled down the line to record his 100th career collegiate hit. Congrats to Jimenez on his collegiate milestone. #RollBeacs #FeedTheMeter #FindAWay

A Hard Truth for Parents.
βIf you do too much for your children, you are increasing your self-esteem by stealing theirs.β
Let them figure it out.
The best gift you can give your kids is the belief that they can handle hard things.

Parents get mad at school coaches when their kids donβt play as much as they think they should. They feel theyβve invested so much time & money that their kid should be playing more when reality is theyβve thrown money away for the last decade on pointless training & AAU teams.π€·π»ββοΈ

ALONE in the Crowd
Why do some "Sports Parents" sit alone?
There are many reasons. Here are five of them...
1: NO DRAMA - Most parents do not like drama. They avoid drama, so they sit alone. Unfortunately, too many adults still need drama in their lives. They seek it out and need it to thrive. When drama parents are "Sports Parents," they can destroy a team's culture. Stay away.
2: NO BCEs - Most parents hate the BCEs. BCE = Blaming, Complaining, Excuse Making. It is a disease, and they do not want to catch it! When parents constantly complain about calls, it creates major negative energy for a team and affects others. AVOID these people.
3: NO IGNORANCE - What is the problem with some parents? They know all of the answersβor they think they do. Most have never coached or reffed a game in their lives. Yet, somehow, they are "Experts." Ignorance is shown, and many "Sports Parents" want to escape.
4: BAD-MOUTH COACHES AND OFFICIALS - Bad-mouthing coaches or officials is not OK. Always remember, it is your child's experience, not yours. So some "Sports Parents" leave this environment. They sit alone. They want to watch their child play. That's all.
5: THEY WANT TO RELAX AND ENJOY THE GAME! Ultimately, most "Sports Parents" just want to watch and enjoy seeing their son or daughter have fun playing a game they love. That's it. They do not want the outside noise. After all, this is what it is all about!
CONCLUSION - Our country is in a mini-crisis with youth sports parents. Be a part of the solution, not the problem. Avoid negative energy and BCEs.
- Remove yourself from the environment.
- Address negativity head-on
- Choose to sit alone
Good Luck!

PARENTS: When you blame other things (officials, coaches, conditions, circumstances, teammates) for the situation your son or daughter is in, then you're essentially teaching your child how to be an excuse maker. Set the standard. Be the standard.
